Since I had my surgery on 9/8, I have had pain in my upper left shoulder/chest area. I have had abdominal surgery before, and thought it was just gas that was trapped. Didn't worry too much about it. It has been a month and I still get this pain on a daily basis - sometimes really intense! Anyone else had this experience? Is it still gas and if so - WHY after a month!! Remedies?

So I'm lost...when are we meeting and where? Had a female type surgery recently and I've been out...what is the scoop!

I too used Dr. Robert Snow...$15,700. Had a smaller port put in and it was $700 more. LOVE DR. SNOW AND HIS OFFICE...can't say enough about them all!

I have the medium band 4 cc. I am at 1.8 and I don't think I have hit my "sweet spot" yet. I'm going back for another fill February 1. Does that seem right?

What does your doctor say about this? I'm sure you have already written that information, but I'm just now coming on board. Just curious!

What do you have to do to qualify for this group. I sure feel like I belong - banded 9/8/05 and only lost 30 pounds.

I feel frustrated a bit too - banded 9/8 and have lost 14. Have my first fill 10/8 and don't feel any different. Hopefully when I go back 11/9 for another fill (they only put .8cc the first time) I will get "the restriction." I don't think I've ever had that - I've had something getting stuck and that hurts a ton - but what about restriction. What does that feel like - does it hurt? I'm frustrated because I would have thought I would have lost more than 14 by now. I've only lost 2 lbs since my first fill.

You know it has been hard for me because I was one of those "thin" people, very thin (5' 9 1/2" - 133 - 10 years ago) most of my life - it hit me when I turned 35 - I could eat WHATEVER - WHENEVER and it truly did not matter - it is hard to know that I gained 90 lbs in 10 years...working the other way now though. It was like being wealthy and then losing all the money (tee hee)!
