Thank you all for all the good info. Agree that kids menu is nothing but junk food anyways. It makes sence and is convenient to order a regular size high protein mean and save it for 2 more portions for home. Last night was the first time that i didnt order anything a at red robin and i just got some grill chicken from my daughters plate, a piece of fish from my son and a couple of fries and onion rings from the hubby. I was so full lol! that saved us money too.

When I press on my incision it just hurts like a normal cut would hurt but there's this weird pain that I get just 4 inches below the incision. The feeling is like a burning sensarion and if i bend over or do sudden moves it hurt really bad. It helps if i hold my gut up against me. Is that how you guys feel?

Thank you all for sharing ur experiences on the port incision. I was getting worried thinking that something came loose and i was getting ready to call my doctor. Like i said i dont really have pain is only the burning feeling and like i pulled a nerve or something like that. I was banded 2 weeks ago. Thanks again!!

Mine was today too and everything is good except for the sharp gas pain all over my chest. I'm running out of gas x :/ maybe is my fault because i slept 4 hours before getting up to walk it out and the same with the inhaler, I'm having a hard time reaching my assigned #

That makes 2 of us, if is something that will help and is available then why not do it. The clinic should've mentioned it instead of waiting for a slip revision and offering it then...thats if its even available here in AZ :/

Congrats and Good Luck Karanicole26!! My surgery is tomorrow at 8:30am but I'm keeping myself busy and trying not to think about it. I am so excited and I know I will do good until they roll me into the surgery room. Expect alot of tears Dr. Nirmul lol!

Now I'm a bit scared, I do not want to wake up on my surgery and find out that nothing happened because I cheated one day!!! But the patient advocate told me that I can cheat one day since it was my birthday. I ate at IHOP a 330 calorie omelette, side order of hashbrowns and 2 cups of coffee w/splenda and for dinner 2 hotwings and alot of veggies with regular ranch, 2 beers, 2 shots, 1 mix drink....didn't get to eat much because I got busy with my guest. HELP!! What should I do to make up for this day. More water? more protein uugghhh!!! my surgery is this coming thursday.

That would be hard. I'm glad my kids are older and I told them and the hubby that they were on their own on cooking. So it helps to stay out of the kitchen. But yes is hard the first few days but it gets better. I have a shake for Breakfast and one for lunch and for dinner is lean chicken or fish with all the salad or fruit that i want to eat. The salad does not feel me so i eat 2 oranges and they fill me up

I'm having mine on the 14 too and I'm not scared just nervous and really excited to get it done. We can do this!!!

Hello to all my March Lab bandsters! I'm on my 7th day of pre-surgery diet, 2 protein shakes and 1 healthy meal (no sugar, salt, fatty food, fried food, carbs, starch...) All the salad and fruit i want (no bananas or carrots) is this pretty much what everyones has to go thru before the surgery??

That's 10 days, how bad is the pain? My plans are to have my surgery on a Thursday and go back to work (office mainly sitting) on Monday. They told me when i schedule my appt that I should be able to go to work without any problems as long as i dont lift anything heavy.
