Gibby1227 and Bejeweled. Your weight loss is fantastic. I didn't much if anything during my post op but I didn't go up either. I had my first fill on June 11 with 3 ccs and when I went in today for another fill (1cc) I had lost 2.5 lbs. I couldn't believe it because I had done a little grazing between meals. I am soooooo happy with my band too!!!! Last fat summer for me too Bejeweled.

I try to add benefibre to everything. It really works.
-
Hi Bejeweled, I try to add the benefibre whenever I remember. It is tasteless and everything helps. I would go for a maintenance approach. Now that you are on liquids use the benefibre then later you can have All bran cereal to help you out. Your discomfort maybe came from the fact that you are on liquids and there isn't much there. The benefibre was a definite help. I still use it when I'm making pebbles for a good clean out. Hope you're doing alright. Are you bake at work?

Hi msrobby, glad you came back. You know that if you need an ear you got plenty hear. Chin up, shoulders back, peepers forward and take one day at a time. There are better days ahead.
-
Loriely what kind of problems are you having? It looks like you have had great weight loss.
-
Leslielee I can't believe you can eat bread with no problem. I tried to eat a piece of pizza type bread and I thought I was going to die. I also had a bun with some ground chicken with vegetables and it got stuck. If I'm really honest, I probably ate it too fast. I really have to work on that..

I agree with Mandi. I like to have a coffee and an egg white omelet. It keeps me full for the better part of the morning. I bring a snack along like a yoghurt to tide me over to lunch if I need it. I still can eat too much but I go for my second fill this Tuesday.

Doddie you kill me. LOL That will teach them to not let us wear little panties.
-
Hi Susan....I found one of your answers on another thread. I'm a goof. We really shouldn't have any problem ordering from the states because I think the package would be pretty small.
-
Hi Susansilver...I only asked for 3 cc because the 2 ladies that went in ahead of me got 5cc and couldn't even sip their Water and I got scared. I go back on the 26th and will ask for 1cc more. I don't think I have enough restriction with 3. You are doing fabulous by the way. LeslieLee you are kicking some ass in your weight loss. Don't worry during this month about weight loss, it's all about healing. I will come soon enough. Take care D

sorry, all those 00000000's were from my dog putting her head on the keyboard. She has to sit on my lap...always.
-
Susansilver for the third time....how much did you get in you fill?00000000000000000000000000

Did YOU Start Solids Early???

Marcar - wow - I can't believe you finished the rest of your sandwich after pbing. It really isn't a good idea. You are allowed to eat more than the sheet says but don't try that hanky panky again. Try harder to stick to it at least until the mushie stage girl. We still luv ya. -
That is hilarious Marcar!!! After I found out where he was going to sit I wondered why no one ever mentioned it....
-
Doddie you are hilarious. As I have said you are the only larger lady I have seen that doesn't have big boobs. While the rest of us will be looking to uplift and shrink our boobs when we reach our goal, you my dear will be trying to find your. Love D

Well I am also conflicted. While I don't want anyone to know about it I really need to think of an emergency where you are unconscious. They said that their med bracelet says no nsaids and no blind intubation which are kinda important. If you have time go to the us site and read it. I think it is a good idea. How much fill did you get. Do you have the midband and has it made a difference?
-
Ahh my dear, those are the thoughts of many.......
-
It does burn but I like the little buzz you get before your gone.
-
Zannie - that is one optomistic way to look at it. Thanks.
-
I didn't take any pain med either. Who decided on your final weight. We are about the same height and build and I told them I wanted to go to 140 and was told 150 was better. Maybe it is because I am almost 50 and they think I should be more realistic. You are much much younger than me. Glad to hear you are doing well. Nice to have met you.
-
I know what you mean. I asked if my legs were going to stay so far apart and she said yes, the doctor sits between them. Poor guy!!
-
Bejeweled, I was also told 4 incisions and woke up to 5. 3 are almost invisible they look like a tiny dot. The port is the longest and still quite red and the one by my belly button is about 1/2 inch wide. Thanks for the info about the port. He told Doddie63 the same thing and it does make sense. I just find that my bra lands on the port and I need to adjust it all the time or just take it off as soon as I get home.
-
Hi Bejeweled. I asked it this was you on another site. I am glad everything went well and glad you decided to join us here. I really like having a face to put to a name. Take it easy and try to keep to the diet plan of liquids, mushies then solids. Hopefully we will meet up again at a fill. All the best, Donna D

That pain in my port area last for about 3 weeks. To be honest, I still have a bruise there and I was banded on April 26. It could be from my underwire landing on the site.

bejeweled are you the girl I met at TLBC on the 14th. You wanted to get your script so you could pick it up before surgery?
