OMG I didn't die! Thank you Jesus!

I think this is more serious than you think. 4 days without significant liquid intake will make you dehydrated. You should call Dr. Kuri back and let him know you can't even do liquids, ANY LIQUIDS. I hate to even mention this but the band could have slipped when you PB'd on the Jello. So call him again. Keep us posted. Worried about you girl. -
Tonight's show was awesome. I am pissed they voted off who they did. I think that person should have stayed and Katey should have gone. OH well!! Glad that the remaining member of Ulong is still in it.

I thought about that but I have to make room NOW for my new clothes I just bought when my daughters visited the end of March. So closet space is a priceless commodity right now.

Growing up on a farm there was all manor of animals. Cows, chickens, mules, sheep, pigs, ducks, cats, field mice, cocker spaniel, etc. I had all kinds of animal friends as a child. I got a pet duck for easter one year. It was so young we had to keep it inside close to the coal burning stove to keep warm. I kept it for a long long time. My cat, Missy, and the duck, Quackers used to play all the time together. Fond memories.

Do a search on Lopez and Ortiz on this site. That should answer most if not all your questions. But I would be happy to fill you in on my experience of Lopez if you PM me. -
I kept thinking bizarre things. OVERTIME came to mind first. Then Old Tits that one had me laughing so hard. Then On Track. Then Oops Tilted or Oops Trapped. See where my mind was going anywhere but OFF TOPIC. LOL!!

I know I will most likely laugh my head off but what does OT mean??

Who knew you DeLarla would read this before the show? I also forgot about the time difference. LOL!!!

Kathy: BREATH!!! You will not dehydrate overnight. LOL!! I know how irritated your esophagus can get after a bad PB. But it will get better. I promise.. -

Kathy: I don't think you vomited. I think it was a really really bad PB. And everytime you PB you usually get the soreness and swelling with the irritation. Take it easy and don't rush things. The warm liquids will help and don't rush going back to solids. IF you are continuing to feel bad then do call your doctor just to check in. It will get better with time. -
OH MY GAWD!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe that Nadia is gone. I thought for sure it was gonna be Scott. And what up with Bo in the bottom three. What a shocker?!!!! I love love love Constantine. I want him to win.

OK the antibiotics are not for the band and although it could be given if your immune system is compromised, the reason they give antibiotics is because working in the mouth is risky for a few reasons but mostly because the mouth is full of bacteria normally. You factor in you are drilling into bone and can cause bleeding which opens up an avenue for the bacteria to enter the bloodstream. Even with all the precautions, sometimes bacteria can get in the bloodstream and that bacteria can then migrate to the heart and damage to your heart valves. So sometimes as a precaution they will give antibiotics pre and post dental treatments. Michelle: I have had the root planing on all four quadrants and that was post banding. No problems. Other dental work I have had done has never ever effected my band or its function.

THank you so much for giving us an update. Tell Katie we are pulling for her to get better soon and to come here and post.

OK, yes this is a beehive. Yes this was in the EAVE of our rental house. Yes it was that big. The size was estimated at around 2 feet in diameter and held approximately 5000 bees. They had to tear off some shingles, gas the bees to kill the queen, let that set for a day or two, then come back and remove the dead bees and the hive. The tenant said the honey was dripping down from the eave like a waterfall. If it hadn't been full of the gas poison she would have collected it. Last summer we couldn't understand how we kept having all these bees flying around while we were outside by the pool. Then we realized there must be a beehive close by. Who'd a thunk it was in our house next door? LOL!!! Enjoy the pics.

If the honey wasn't poisoned with the gas that we used to kill the queen then yeah we could have just put a jar under the waterfall of honey coming off the eave. SIGH!! What a waste. Oh well.

The device is called a Spirometer. Donali is correct in how it is used. It is given to exercise the lungs by assisting in the removal of anesthesia from the lungs and to keep pneumonia from setting in. Not necessarily to inflate the lungs. If the lungs are over or under inflated during surgery then that is negligence on the part of the anesthesist. Keep a watch on the breathing.

Hey Lisa: HUGS!!! I will make an effort to be online at that time. It will be around 7 or 8 my time. If you hang around till 9 I will certainly be there. You know I love ya girl. It is a shame that you have this great support arena but you don't come because of some issues on this board. You know you can always call me on the cell while I am gone.

Kola: Who was your doctor? What exactly did your doctor tell you about your lungs? Have you ever had any kind of issues with your lungs before? Like asthma, pneumonia, etc. Do you smoke? Collapsing lungs are not something to mess with. Did they actually collapse or what? If they did then you should have woken up with a chest tube. I would be very concerned about this.
