I was able to get in 30 min on the recumbent bike. Even though it bothered my port area each time I did a turn on the bike. OH WELL!! Got that exercise in though. LOL!!

Too funny. Of course I will discuss all this with Billy. I will report back as soon as I know something. I tried to rub off the makeup but John won't let me. He said you were getting way too much attention on the boards. LOL!! Carol: not sensitive to Chlorine. If so I would have seen this right after Jamaica trip. NOTHING there. Not sure what is causing this redness again. IT just pops up every so often. Billy was puzzled the last time it came up. So might just get some antibiotics and treat and see what happens. UGH!!

A couple of questions: Who is doing your surgery? Where are you getting it done? Are you getting a LAPBAND or MIDBAND? It makes a difference when looking for a fill doc. Some docs won't take Mexico patients and then the ones that do take them won't take Midband patients. Contact Inamed if you are getting a LAPBAND and they can help locate some docs in your surrounding area that do this procedure. www.inamed.com As far as Midband I can't give you specifics on that. You should set up aftercare before the surgery anyway in case of emergencies. I asked my surgeon that placed my band for a list of docs that take his patients. Be careful though some people have been given a list and the docs they contacted would not take them after all. SO do the research before getting banded. Good luck and hope this helps.

Michelle: Not sure about the partying hard in Vegas excuse. I was tame actually. I could have stretched it when I was in the pool but I kinda doubt it. Do you guys remember when I had this weird redness and tenderness around my port incision? Well guess what it is back. Look at this pic. I am so glad I am seeing Billy tomorrow maybe he can figure it out. Now the site is HOT and even more tender to the touch. SIGH!! So Now what?????

Hey Cort: Glad to have you on board. Welcome to the rest of your life. I too had high blood pressure along with high cholesterol, back pain, knee pain, etc. Since losing 48 lbs I have gotten my blood pressure under control and off medications, my cholesterol was 130 just two days ago and off medications, my knees and back no longer hurt. I have LOADS of energy. I can get down on the floor now without being embarrased or hurt myself. But better yet I can get up off the floor by myself without a crane. LOL!! Welcome and don't be shy.

Just an FYI: IF you chose the midband then make sure you have a doctor set up in your immediate area that you can go to for emergencies. Some surgeons won't take care of patients that have gone to Mexico much less someone with a midband. The LAPBAND is more widely accepted for state surgeons to accept patients. I am not saying one is better over the other. I just think you should be aware that some docs won't accept midband patients cause they are not used to that band as much as the lapband. I don't know that the statement "The American band is very ridgid and more people have complications with it." is truly accurate. The research on the Lapband is still ongoing and some of the doctors don't report good results much less ANY results with the lapband patients. So to broadly say more complications is not true. I think with each band there are complications. There are pros and cons with each band. Just do your research and chose which one is best for you. They are equally succesful in aiding in the weight loss battle. Just my opinions.

OH Pooh on Lisa -- it's a freaking challenge. She won the last one so who cares. LOL!!! I walked yesterday morning for about 30 min I walked this morning for about 50 min and that was 2.4 miles. Would have walked more but the rain started.

Lisa: I have an email out to Dr. Billy about your case. I know you said you can't afford him but I am working on that as well. So, as soon as I know something I will let you know. You should consider him for the port replacement.

Lisa I love them all. I used one and have saved the rest for changing it up when I get bored. LOL!! They are all cute.
