I dont know what to do.

Im sure the other people that are giving eating "advice" are trying to be as helpful as they think they can. Im sure it is very annoying for someone who has had WLS to get eating advice from people that have not actually gone through the procedure. Restrictions change with every doctors visit and its kinda something the individual has to learn to adjust to on their own. Everyone is different. I was told I would never be able to eat chicken again, but chicken is about the only meat I can eat. My biggest support from people I knew that had the band already was just them answering my questions and calming my fears, and the support from non lap band friends was motivation, encouragement and exercise partners. This is a very big step and its mentally and physically trying at times...maybe wanting people to butt out isnt the way to feel. Not everyone understands and you may just have to nod with those you dont want opinions from, but at least they care enough to "help". Good luck on your journey.

    Sept 11 my surgert date

I worked really hard trying to maintain pre op diet. Once I kicked the soda and bread it wasn't as bad! I had surgery on a Friday and went back to work that Monday, but ended up taking about three days off due to gas. If you walk and get that gas out, your good to go! Good Luck!

    brusing

I just got my 4th fill today. 5 months post op. Usually I have no soreness, bruising or anything but today at the injection site it twinges and I have a dime size bruise. Is this normal? All I have read on here are how painless, easy these fill visits are so im just wondering.
