Sweating easily as a byproduct of increased fitness?
Joe I replied to neneh_vsg's topic in Fitness & Exercise
Nothing to due with your sweating, but should to do the weight training first then the cardio. -
The scale may be accurate but I'm not so sure about the body fat % readings. I've read where they can vary a lot depending on how hydrated you are. I'd like to have the water displacement test done at some point.

Good Luck, God Bless, and we'll be waiting on the looser's bench for ya.

Congratulations we've been waiting for you. -
I'm about 4 months out and 80 lbs down I do 3 or 4 days of strength training and 1 or 2 of cardio and then only about 25 minutes. I'm trying to build muscle and cardio is not good for that.

Sounds like the wrong frame of mind goin into WLS

It might be hard to see right now but everything happens for a reason. Use this to motivate you to be the best you can be work out hard, get strong, concentrate on you, and soon enough another woman will come along and if not her then perhaps another. Better it happened now than when children are involved.

I just got back from my first flight since surgery on March 4 2013. And not only did I not need a seat belt extender but I prolly had 5 or 6 inches of belt to spare.

On Sunday the wife and I leave for 4 nights in Las Vegas. I can't wait to board the plane and get in the seat, there should be lots of room and no need for a seat belt extender. I'm not worried about eating there, as it is now I can't overeat even if I want to, there will be buffets for us. And with less spent on food I think we'll take in an extra show. Who knows I may even get in the pool. SW 304 CW 222

2 weeks post op still sore
Joe I replied to djnkidz's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
There are two surgeons at the hospital where I was sleeved. One takes it out on the right the other on the left. Mine was on the right, I was sore for about 6 weeks. I'm 14 weeks out today and down 80 lbs and feeling great. -
Didn't notice I was in the lady's room post retracted.

Do I really need to go to my 3 month post-op Dr. appointment.
Joe I posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Soon I will be 3 months post-op, I have had no issues what so ever. I've seen my PCP and had the blood work done, all all was well. I'm eating about 1200 calories a day and exercising 5 or 6 days a week. I've lost 2 to 5 lbs every week. I would like to go see my surgeon because I personally like him, he's into strength training and I enjoy it too. The thing is I would need to take a few hours off work $$$ and the $50.00 office co-pay. It would end up costing me about $150.00 for what I'm sure would be a 15 minute tops talk with him. So what do you think keep the appointment or cancel it? SW 304 DOS 277 CW 226 -

My surgeon gave me what blood work he wanted me to have, my PCP had to order it and all my numbers came back good. -

I workout 5 or six days a week usually alternate weights with cardio. I'm not lifting heavy more reps 16-14-12 increasing weight each set with about 1 minute between sets for a total of a little over an hour, cardio is between 45 minutes and an hour. Some times elliptical or a run or bike ride outside, sometime both run and bike. -
