Hi guys! I'm on day 3 post-op as well. Haven't even had any pain meds..didn't even go to pharmacy to get them. Sipping creamy soup broth n protein shakes. Been sleeping on port side...no not in a boat!! with little or no discomfort. Down 11 lbs. !! Only issue is overnite B.S. getting low..52 early this morning. Consulting with Dr. today. May need to up cal. an stop diabetic meds for awhile..fine by me!! Been walking at the mall everyday. Minimal gas pains, abdomen shrinking feeling less sore everyday. glad to read all others pist-op doing well also GOOD JOB!! Have to go outto plow snow now..hope it wont bounce me around to much.

yep mine r the same as Cheznoels. Im 3 days post op every day feels better. Hardest thing was bending over to tie shoes!

yep i got just a little cough n sore throat from it but fine after first day. day 3 post-op n according to my WW digital scale says I'm down 9 lbs.!! HOLY S&%$!!! Does that sound right??? Ready to drink my first Premier Protein drink for breakfast. yum yum thanks

yes i was infact just studying it now. I was just confused as to if those were stage 2 n I have my answer. thanks for replies.

Hi all. i got home earlier n weighed....5 lbs down just from 2 dys. in hospital. Does that sound right? i guess being on clear liquids n walking alot maybe so? Getting around pretty good but just sore at port. No nausea or shoulder pain ( yet? ) n minimal gas.

My kryptonite this time of year is spice jelly beans I used to sit with a fresh bag nibbling watching tv n before i knew it....oops!!! all gone! n peanut butter kisses at Halloween too!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! cullychick see? no big deal. How r u feeling? im ready to be cut loose from hospital. slept ok n feeling pretty darn good. still no back pain or nausea. just sore around port. A little tough getting shoes on. NOW we can graduate up to the POST-OP column!!! yay!!! keep us posted culkychick!

trust me cullychick, it comes quick but it wasn't near as bad as I expected. Where are you having yours done?

Hi everyone!! I'm sitting in room sipping broth n jello. Everything went fine. So far anyway no nausea, gas pain or anything. Just a lttle sore in midsection n sore throat/ light cough from tube. Managed to get myself dressed n went for walk already! Thanks to all for your well wishes.

Hi everyone. Well if everything goes as planned, I'll be in recovery a mere 12 hrs. from now. Wish me luck n see u all on the other side. I'll give updates tomorrow. thanks

Holy S%#&!! Less than 24 hrs. an now I'm really nervous!! Spending the day getting everything done at home so when I return I can relax n rest. Up at 4am.

Hi all..I have a question...I have some fresh meat coming to me but before I order my cuts is bacon something anyone has opinion on post op? I love thick cut smoked bacon but dont want to waste money ordering if I cant eat it anyway. Then I would order ham etc. thanks all for your advice.
