Okay, so I got my lapband back in Feb 2013 and everything was looking bright. I was ready to change my life and habits. I lost lots of weight and was on a new path. Fast forward to 2016, Ive gained half the weight I lost back and dont know where to begin. I will make this short and sweet. I need advice and I need help right now. Its almost like im getting depressed about it all over again. Where should I start with my diet and workout plans? Its seems I have every excuse in the book when it comes to working out. I have an online boutique business that keeps me occupied and a 7yr old daughter with learning difficulties. Im in a rut and need advice seriously. Where do I start. Anyone been here before? Quinn

I didnt know you can go back and get a sleeve. Theres a new procedure that my surgeon is promoting which is the balloon. Have you heard of that? -

Great advice. I cleared the kitchen when I read this earlier and made an appointment to check the band on thursday. I didnt even cry doing it because I knew it was the best advice anyone has given. Thanks again. #toughlovealwayswork -
Ok went to the doc on 10/23/13, and got my 4th fill. Last fill was 4/24/13. I went from a 8.4cc to a 9.4cc in a 14cc band. And yes I'm restricted. I just started back exercising 4 days a week/1hr a day after my 2 month hiatus/off and on working out. So im super restricted and I experienced my first real food issue. Oh goodness I thought I was gonna pass out. So hopefully this is my lucky number. My trainer recommended her acupuncture doc to help me. What do you guys think? What can this acupuncture doc can do for me?

Ok so my main port is located under my left breast and the remaining in the middle of my abs. If I get a Panni or TT, where would they relocate them to? Also how dangerous is relocating them?

Ok so Ive been without weight loss for 2 months. At the end of the first month I got really discouraged and starting eating bad things . Only because I felt like Im not going to lose anymore than I have. Now its the end of the second month and Im still trying to figure out whats wrong. I changed trainers and gyms. I had a gym partner that kept me motivated but he hit his goal and doesnt go as often. No one else will work out. Has any of you gone through this stage? If so what are your suggestions?

Doing some research and notice that more than half their lunch and dinner Entrees are full of carbs and sodium. Also their Desserts are full of sugar. How can a person lose weight like this? Im not saying they are bad, I just want to know you guys opinions. Did you guys try this before your band and what were your experiences? Did some of you try this with the band? What were your experiences?

I havent had any liquor since Jan 1 and my surgery was Feb 5. Im going to a wine tasting party tomorrow with my friends. Is it ok to have a glass of wine? Preferably Merlot Or is it not a good idea?

My follow up was today. Since April 24 I have lost another 10 pounds!!!!! I feel like the weight is sliding off now. At first when I looked in the mirror I felt like it was working. Ive learned that it takes time and patience. It doesnt happen overnight. I thank all the people to gave me advice on this forum. Lol like im accepting an award. Anyone else gaining more confidence??

Tummy Tuck and C Section Cut and Financing

I have a bikini c section cut. It looks just like a crease but how does this work when I want to get a tummy tuck. Will there be a problem? Also we have something called Care Credit for those who cant afford to pay for the surgery all at once here in Chicago. I dont know if this is all over but what other ways can I finance it. Did insurance by any chance cover you guys. (Fat Chance I know, but I wanted to still ask) -
Ok let me give it to you straight. My friend made tacos but I told her I didnt want any. But insisted and prepared me 1. I bit it and it went down and came right back up. It was the worst feeling ever. I havent vomitted since 2001 and I had the flu then. I was banded in Feb 2013, should I be worried about my band slipping. Right now Im scared to eat anything. I just be adding fluids and eating sugar free freeze pops. HELP I NEED ANSWERS.

ok even though we dont start til monday. i always like to get ahead of the game so i did the fit test and its pretty much the same stuff my trainer has me doing. lol so I should be good. Maybe I wont need that trainer after this. more money in my pockets.

Ok guys I'm starting the 60 day insanity challenge with 4 other friends starting monday. Have any of you tried this yet? Give me some feedback on this challenge. Any good results? Concerns? I been working out consitantly with a trainer and on my own total six days a week. How hard can this be?

Ok I went to the surgeons office today for my regular check up and hopped on the scale. I'm down 8 pounds for the month. All this time, I'm beating myself about my weight not moving and this is the reason. I'm so relieved! I told the doc I live in a old traditional brick bungalow and he said maybe your floors aren't leveled. PROBABLY SO! So my advice to the new bandsters! Make sure your scale is accurate and your house is leveled. Lol -
Ive had a C Section birth 4 years ago and it created a pouch. Can this be fixed after I lose the weight in my midsection? My trainer told me that it will be very difficult to firm that area because of all the damage that may have been done to my muscles during the c section. Is this true?

Ok So I'm on my 3rd fill in this 14 cc band. I currently have 8.4 cc in me. I can feel the restrictions for sure!
