  2. Hi everyone, I'm from Toronto Was banded last June and it's my 1 year "bandiversary." While I'm pleased with my 50lb weight loss, I can't help but compare myself to the many who have lost almost double that in the same time frame. I'm proud of myself but always wonder what more I could have done... I'm 32 and I still have 50lbs to lose. Background: I didn't excercise, just ate smaller portions. Had regular adjustments (now 5.2). Going for another one on Wednesday.

  5. I have 5cc in a 10cc band and I can eat Soups, oysters, some meats, and veggies. I CANNOT eat breads, rice, some granola bars or chicken breast otherwise I get stuck and have to vomit because the pain in my chest won't go away. I know some people can't eat breads or rice and dry meats. Is this normal? Am I too tight? Or are these things I just have to give up. I'm ok either way.

    What are you NOT ABLE to eat?

    I know many of you do not eat many things "by choice" i.e. bread, pasta, rice, beef, etc. but what I would like to know is what are you NOT ABLE to eat? So, NOT by choice. Just curious as I know everyone is different

    2-3 weeks before fill takes effect?

    Today was my 3rd fill (now at 5cc). I've had a full cc the last 2 fills. While, I feel some "restriction" immediately, an hour that tightness subsides. Then about 2-3 weeks later (usually a week before I'm due for another fill) I get really tight. I'm still not at the 4 hours no hunger stage even though I have 5 cc's.

    6 weeks post op and already...

    I'm a little sad. I'm 6 week post op and already on a plateau for the past 2 weeks (so since week 4). I upped my calories from 900 to 1200 in the last few days because of the whole starvation mode - I recall reading too low cals could be the reason. I don't know how convinced I am about that though because to lose a pound it's calories in vs calories out and I'm expending way more that I take in. I religiously log every bite on MFP too so I know exactly what I'm eating and how much. I'm fully healed so I thought I'd be at lighter weight by now. Mary

    Hi everyone, I am at the beginning of my journey and was wondering what you used on your skin to prevent or reduce the signs of sagging or surgery scars. I know a lot of this is "related to genetics" and "everyone is different" but I am still curious to know what you have used and what worked! TIA
