Thank you! I know I am taking too big of bites. It is something I am working on. It is my fault I am getting stuck. But I am always hungry. I guess I do need more. Thanks for the advice and the link. I'm going to check it out now!

Hello everyone! I have a quick question. I have 6.5 in an 11cc band. I was banded in March of this year. I have since lost 46 pounds! With this last fill (.5 cc) I have noticed that a lot of my food is getting stuck. I am having a hard time with small bites. The question is, since things are finally starting to get stuck, am I getting close to the green zone? Thanks for any feed back!

Time for My Fill
ISIKJallaq replied to fashionstylist's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have had a total of 6 fills. I am still not in the green! Each fill was 1cc and I have an 11cc band! Hopefully next fill will bring some restriction! GL!!! -

What was anyones weight when banded...
ISIKJallaq replied to debpaige's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was 315 when banded in March. Now, I am at 269. I have 5cc in an 11cc band and feel no restriction. Hopefully when I get up to 6 or 7 cc it will get better! -
I love the nectar! Chocolate truffle is yummy!

8 weeks and 25 pounds down! Yay! Just had my 2nd fill today. I have 4 cc in an 11 cc band! -
But what if it does work? Think about that. The glass should always be half full.

It felt like a bee sting for me! Just breathe and u will do fine! Good luck

Yes. If you must count calories, (I keep on better track when I do), stay between 900-1200. That should be a good number for some guide lines. But at best advice, talk to your doc or nut. They can advise you best!

You are still healing. If you are in the mushie stage, your only job is to eat lots of protein and heal. The next stage is for counting calories and working out. Get in your proteins and heal! Good luck!

I would suggest legal help. -

Everyone is different. Look to lose 1-2 pounds a week. It is time to heal. At about 6 weeks is when you can start to focus on that!

I work in this area. The doctor is support to refer you to another health care facility. If they don't, it's considered abandonment and u can sue them. Look up abandonment on google and review your rights! -

What to do for a sugar craving
ISIKJallaq replied to Deed2u's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I get peanut butter! It's sweet and a little bit goes a long way! Or, you can always eat some plain oat meal with Splenda, protein shakes are sweet, sf pudding/jello, apple sauce ( natural ) sf gum. Things like that work with moderation! Good luck.
