Still wearing the same size in clothes
camary1968 posted a topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I'm 4 1/2 months post-op and have lost close to 40lbs, but I'm still wearing the same size. If thats possible. Granted they fit a little loser but it's still the same size. I feel good about the weight loss, but discouraged clothing. I know that I'm doing everything right, but I feel that I should be seeing better results. A little encouragement is needed right about now, please HELP. -

I was banded 2-22-13, and also in the same predicament. I just started adding excersise into my daily routine, so I'm hoping this will also help. I do eat alot of protein and drink alot of water, but I still don't feel that I'm losing and also feel like I'm not doing something right and a failure. Any support is greatly appreciated.

I'm scheduled for my for surgery 2/22. I must say, throughout this whole process, having excess skin is one of my biggest fears. I'm listening to all the suggustion people have posted and will keep them all in mind during my weight loss journey.

Any February 2013 Bandsters?
camary1968 replied to laughingatlilies's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hi I'm new here. I was approved about 3 weeks ago and now I'm scheduled for surgery this Friday 2-22. I'm so excited and nervous at the same time. Like many posts I've read, I've chosen not to tell anyone about my surgery except for my mom and a 1 co-worker, not because of lack of support that I may or may not get, but because it's no ones business but mine. I work at the same hospital that I'm having my surgery, so I'm sure other co-workers will find out sooner or later. I'm just finishing up my 2 weeks of the pre-op liquid diet, which I'm sure other past Banders know, has been very difficult. I'm just hoping that all goes well with my surgery and can't wait for my new life on the other side.
