  2. Hello there. Any help appreciated. Considering this surgery. But want to know a few things. As you are not eating a lot do you have energy for excersise and general living etc? I have two young kids and go to the gym 4-5days a week. I need energy. Secondly how is life after the weightloss.? Do you still enjoy goong out for dinner/lunch/coffees etc? Thirdly how slow do you really have to eat? Is it a pain? Do you miss not heing able to eat a lot? Do you still want to and you just cant? Or does soms of the desire disapear? Do you have to drink slow? Any answers to any queations appreciated!
  3. Thanks everyone for all the advice. That web link is great. I have not been to a seminar but have a dr app in two weeks and gp app to get a referal next week. I already excersise five days a week doing classes at the gym. Just cant get food under control . Ive loat weight over the years only to gain it back. Also had two kids over last three years and just gained lot of weight using the pregnancy as an excuse... So now im just in process of deciding to do this or try myself again. Im doing ww. Such a hard decision... Dr may not agree anyway as i think my bmi might be 38 or 39... Anyway thanks all.
  4. Hello. Im thinking about the surgery but cant seem to find any info about a few things. Firstly can you drink liquads as normal? Or do you have to sip slowly? Dont know if i could handle not being about to drink Water fast on a hot day etc. I understand you have to eat a little slower etc but how slow? Is it really really slow and does this have any impact on life going out to din with people etc. Also on the emotional side do people ever get depressed to not be able to eat nice things ever again or can you do this in moderatiin once you get to maintance phase. I see a lot of posts on this forum saying its been a good decision to have the surgery but i just want to understand a bit more about the changes you have to make and if they are changes that you can live with for the rest of your life. I really want to lose the weight but im still not sure if i can do this myself or surgery is the way to go. Its a big decision and i dont want to do this and then potentially feel depressed if theres anything i cant live with. Any advice aporeciates.
