The bullet is perfect and inexpensive.. I also did not puree my foods however I use my bullet daily for my shakes and the fruit I add to them.. it comes with cups that you can mix in and take on the go.. perfect for my use.. but there are so many options out there that I am sure had I purchased a different one I would be saying the same things about it..

Congrats..

Wow.. glad you're feeling better.. naturally we think drinking will wash the food down but I too found out differently.. it just creates more issues.. talk to your doctor and see what he/she recommends.. Glad you are better..

Post Op Food Phases?
TruDreadz replied to ireallywannabthin's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Mechanical soft are foods that are blended, chopped, ground, or just mashed so you can chew and swallow them easier.. along the same lines as a puree diet just a thicker consistency.. hopefully I explained that correctly.. -
Post Op Food Phases?
TruDreadz replied to ireallywannabthin's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Mine was about the same.. clear liquids post-op day 1.. then 2 weeks of full liquids.. 2 weeks of puree.. then on week 4 we can do mechanical soft.. finally on week 6 a regular diet as long as you can mash whatever you eat with a fork.. then slowly I was able to eat meals once I learned to chew properly.. -
Has anyone noticed a change in your appetite after stopping or starting caffeinated products.. recently I stopped drinking coffee and all caffeinated beverages and noticed a drastic decrease in my appetite.. my coffee was with equal and light cream.. I am just curious if anyone else has had the same effect..

I agree with everyone before.. it could be a range of things.. gas from the CO2 used during surgery.. irritation from the band due to inflammation.. acid reflux can form because of the irritation.. walking will help the CO2 problems and most doctors encourage an OTC acid reducer like prilosec or nexium.. try to keep away from acidic drinks.. juices and coffee are the worse.. anyhow if its too bad then check with your doctor.. wishing you both a blessed journey..
