    1 week post op

I had those feelings yesterday and I'm only 6 days in. It's completely normal. This is a huge lifestyle change. As much as we prepared ourselves for it, it's still an emotional ride. My husband said to me yesterday (when I told him I miss food) this is what I wanted and it's going to make me healthy and help me live longer. It's not easy but just think about the end result. Don't worry about screwing up. Your going to be just fine. My stomach is still swollen too. As far as sleeping, I can't wait until I can't sleep a full night in my bed! I can start off in bed just fine but I'll wake up a few hours later very uncomfortable and I have to sleep on the recliner.
  2. I'm 6 days post op. This is my last day of liquids and I just weighed myself for the 1st time since the surgery. I've lost 19lbs! How is that possible??? Is that even safe? I know I've only been on liquids and most of that is water weight but I'm a little concerned. Should I be? Has this happened to anyone else? I'm calling my Dr. today so I can advance my diet. I will def discuss with him.

    Banded 2/7/13

I'm also very bloated which is uncomfortable but the worst is the shoulder pain. I didn't have any problems with water. Don't take big sips. Baby sips as often as you can.

    MONSTER hiatal hernia

I just got banded on the 7th and my Dr. told my husband I had one also. It made sense to me when I think about all the heart burn and reflux I was having before surgery.

  9. Hi everyone! I just got banded the other day, 2/7/13. I'm very excited I got it done and I can't wait to start seeing results. My number one complaint right now is back, chest and shoulder pain from the CO2 gas. When should I expect this to go away? I don't really think the pain meds are helping much in regards with that pain, just with the incision pain. My husband has been rubbing ben gay on my back which actually helps a bit. Now sorry for the TMI, but I've starting passing gas early this morning. I've read alot about people taking gas x but it actually feels good, like I'm relieving some pressure. Should I be taking gas x? Thanks!
