I wouldn't worry about it too much. Different doctors prefer different things and it may vary from patient to patient. I know in my seminar class it was pretty general for the requirements and then when I went to a support group I found that each patient is treated differently depending upon their medical need.Being the director I would imagine he has more experience possibly than the other doctor and is more apt to move you along more quicky. It's kind of like when you have your first child you are gentle and slow with caring for them and then out comes child 2 and 3 and you got the hang of it and realize that it doesn't take all that. There are guidelines and then there is reality.

Okay so the hubby got me hip hop abs and I wanted to know has anyone else tried it? It looks kind of hard

I will be going on a road trip about a month after surgery. God willing of course. I was concerned about the same thing. Would anyone advise against it. I know I will do all the driving since my hubby isn't taken the trip and I will have 3 small children with me. (ages 2, 8, and 9) I know I will have to pack healthy snacks and drink very little because I'm driving of course I don't want to keep stopping.

oooo I never thought about how annoying that could be. I have told quite a few people, I hope they don't get all annoying like that.

I initially was told to give it two weeks and I did. Then the day after the two week passed I called the office only to fine that they hadn't submitted anything and wanted to verify if I had gone to my last meeting. I had to wait another week after that. so it would of taken a week if that didn't happen.

Okay so I have been trying to find some protein that I could stomach.....and I bought some slimfast again yesterday to try an experient. I bought the Strawberry flavor and mixed in margarita sugar free drink mix by Market Pantry (target brand) I fell in love. I know the sugar content in slimfast is pretty high so I won't be able to drink slimfast but I know what to do the other protein drinks out there.

I wonder if they have the high protein in vanilla...I'm going to check out the website.

Isopure was gross. I tried the grape flavor and just couldn't do it. I was disappointed because it wasn't cheap. My hubby ended up drinking it.

Congrads on the approval...I have a tentative date for 7/17/13. I right there with yah....I like that pre-op diet.

awwww man....well it's a good thing they found out.

I had been on the nuva ring for years and would get bv infections a few times a year. I never knew they were related. In any event, it was very annoying and then having to keep taking anti-biotics to only get a yeast infection from them. My OBGYN recommended I just buy refresh over the counter. She was right it works great. The smell is gone and I don't have to worry about it as much.

my stomach be flapping around too..I need to find some clothes that holds it down.

I'm still waiting....my Dr didn't send paperwork till this past Monday.....I'm upset and very impatient.
