Thanks MimiLou for your special answer to my question. I have done my homework and I know the difference between the Gastric-Bypass and the Lap-Band procedures. I want to lose 130 pounds and I did not know if I could lose that much with the Lap-Band procedure. I think I will be able to now.

I am known on the forum as Littleman and I am from Irmo, SC. I am in the first steps of getting ready to have my Lap-Band operation. I will welcome any advice you could give because this is new to me. Please, no horror stories, Thanks.

Hi, I am at the very first steps of my road to be banded. I have been to my seminar and I am up for my Dr. consultation on Monday and I was really getter nerveous while reading all these stories abou erosion and PB's and Sliming ( None of these things I know what they are ), I was getting ready to give it up when I read the response from Kat817 and I had to put a reply. What is a PB? I am new to the site and while reading some of the threads I hear everyone talking about PB's. I am really getting a big case of pre-op jitters.
