Wild rosé what website are you finding those on?

If you had a hard time drinking fluids that's restriction. Take it very slow as you either had a small fill put in with surgery or are very swollen.

Meant "food" not good.
-
Yes I have one but haven't used in years mostly same complaints others have about choices on menus and looks you get. Also off subject but I hate when waitresses see how little I eat and ask "was the good ok?" I have to say "oh yes I just don't eat very much" or "yea I kit wasn't very hungry".

They're very good. My hubby wasnt crazy about them but I thought they were very good to be 147 cals and 18 grams of protein per muffin.
-
If their a potential right one they won't care if you have the band. If they do care then that will save you the wasted time.

Girl if poor choices ruined the band mine would have been ruined along time ago. It's a tool not a cure and we still struggle with addictions to food with bad habits. Shrug it off and get back on Track tomorrow.

I have seen some of you post that you're able to eat cereal. I have never been able too. I know we're all different but it gets stuck when I have. If you're able to eat cereal and there is a certain kind that you do well with let me know please. I miss cereal.

One of my co-workers daughter has the sleeve. She's done very well. She can also eat foods I can't such as hamburgers. She says nothing gets stuck, she just gets full quick. In a way I think that would be nice but then again over 4 years I've grown used to not eating hamburgers and really don't miss them. I'd be afraid that if I didn't fear certain foods getting stuck i would go overboard with them. If I didn't have that problem I wouldn't need a band. We all know just getting full and stopping wasnt what we did before anyway. Although it would be nice not to have to go somewhere and worry will there be anything I can eat or for people to have to plan where we eat around me.

Do y'all eat it with milk? If so how much?

I have a habit if we eat Mexican I will get one of the little salsa bowls and put rice and cheese in it so I don't go overboard.

How much time did you take off of work for LBS?

Two weeks and I had hiatal hernia. I was medic and went back to lifting. Wasn't easy. I would get tired very easily. -
Of course it won't. Just count those calories. Make sure not to overdo it being that soon after surgery though. Don't want to stress the stitches if you had too much and got "sick".

Day 6 first lesson learned!
medicrn replied to Chris A's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Also don't lay down flat for 2 hours after eating. The stomach acid can come back up and make you vomit. I have woken up vomiting in my sleep to learn that lesson. -
I was told initially no. I think it's due to you suck more air when drinking through straw. I find I drink better by drinking straight but yes I can drink through a straw.

One Year Today I Started My Journey..
medicrn replied to dee257's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
Success, I also had gotten back into bad habits. Last year I had some plastic surgery and had All of my fill taken out before surgery because I was scared I wouldn't be able to eat enough to heal correctly or I'd vomit and hurt my incisions. BIG BIG MISTAKE. I quickly found out I could eat foods I hadn't eaten in 4 years. I had to start gradually getting fills but bad habits stuck. I regained 20lbs quickly. I just had my last full last week and am just now back in the green zone. This thing is a TOOL. Use it like that but you have to stay on track with the foods to stay away from. You invested in this tool so don't let it go to waste. I sure dont know your finances but I would recommend a fill and a recommitment soon. I'm so glad I went back last week and I've already lost 9lbs. You can do this! -

To me as far as painful it's much less than an iv stick. More than a shot. It's a pain that is quick and brief though cause once the needle is in it doesn't hurt. Pain lasts about 2 whole seconds. That is if your filler is good and your port is easy to access. I didn't notice a difference in what I could eat until my 3rd fill.

I have 7.5 in 10cc band. I'm good in my green zone now. My mom has nothing in her band and can not eat any type of meats. Crazy. I'm a nurse and I do not understand it. We're all different.

Oh lord y'all have given me ideas! Had fill and have been really tight so I combined Campbell's cream of chicken with herbs and French onion and it was the best thing I've had all week. Even added some crispy French fried onions cause the crunchy stuff goes down well and it was awesome!

I had fill done last Wednesday and my doc said no solids until Monday. My kids wanted pizza last night. I was amazed how easily I passed it up, primarily because I knew I'd be up chucking (excuse the French) shortly because I am extremely tight right now (can still only get down liquids). When I am able to eat pizza though I can do thin crust cheese only is best. I find that I can eat easier and more which isn't a good thing standing up.
