Awesome job! I have lost 34 lbs since my lap band surgery in February 2013. I feel like a totally different person now. I feel downright sexy compared to how I use to feel about myself. I just went shopping this past weekend and I could fit into a 14, I started at a 20. Talking about feeling great trying those dresses on! I can't wait for more experiences. Thanks for sharing! -
You are going to look and feel great! Nothing like the feeling of doing something that you couldn't do before. I finally fit back into my wedding dress! Which was one of my goals.

I like that Body Fortress shakes at Walmart. They are only 20.00 too. For sure don't over buy..I did and I still have SF jello in the fridge, that I am pretty sure needs to be thrown out..lol. -
Yes, it will be sore for a day or so. It will go away. Be careful eating after the fill in too. I am sure they said to do liquids for 24-48 hours to give you time to adjust. Good luck!

First of all Congrats! I hope that I am as blessed as you. I guess the first step would be to talk to maybe a nutrionist and your doctor. I personally liked the body fortress protein shake that you get at Walmart for around 20.00. It was really good mixed with coconut milk..tasted like a almond joy..yum! Anyway, I wish you luck getting those 60 lbs off. -

I have lost 31 lbs in 2 months after Lap Band surgery and have hit my first major plateau. Is there any tricks that anyone uses to get over the hump?

I log everything, I exercise daily, and I just had a fill on 4/22. I guess my body is just catching up, because I have lost 2 pounds since yesterday. Thanks for the tips. -

I had fill #2 yesterday. 1 cc put in for a total of 4 cc in 10 cc band. Doing good since then. Good luck!

I have PCOS and I had Lap band surgery on 2/28. I haven't had cycles on my own for about 10 years. This Sunday, I started a period on my own, but only lasted on Sunday and nothing Monday and now spotting again. Anyone else experienced this? It is amazing to have a period on my own, but what is up with it being sporadic days?

I am officially in "onderland"! Down to 199, with 29 lbs lost. It has been over 10 years since I have weighed less than 200 lbs. I am just so proud of myself and I love my band! I am so happy and I never thought I could be this happy with myself. I can't wait to keep having more success at this journey.

I have reached my first goal of getting down to 200 lbs. I have lost 28 lbs in 6 weeks 4 days! I am so excited about my weight loss and I feel great. I can see "onderland" from here! I haven't been below 200 lbs in 10 years and looking forward to that scale at the doctor's office not having to be put on the 200 mark.
