I am 43 years old & decided to have the gastric sleeve after I saw how successful the gastric bypass was for my two daughters. I lost my Mom from a massive heart attack when she was 43 years old. So I decided it was time to do something because I want to be around for a long time to see my gradchildren grow up. I am married to a wonderful man that supports me every step of the way. We have been married 25 years this past Feb. I was always very active & small when I was younger. The weight started to creep up when I had my partial hysterectomy in 2001. I thought that I would be able to control it on my own but, that was just not possible. So here I am today!! I am newly post op & am looking forward to seeing some results.
