    I had my surgery on Oct.10th. I am on mushy food right now. I have been hungry but just sticking to what I am told. Today I was hungry. Ate my half cup mushed chicken and apple sauce. Still not feeling satisfied had a few bites of mashed potatoes. Worried I stretched the pouch. Am I being crazy paranoid? ?

    I am a side sleeper. It has been almost a week since my surgery. Will I no longer be able to sleep on my side.

    Today is my 3rd day post op. A lot of belly pain and I swear something is wrong with my port. I can't even touch the skin by it.. ugh.. I pray tomorrow is better.

    I am feeling okay. The port is killing me. It feels like it is burning under my skin. Hard to stand and sit up because of it.

    My surgery was yesterday. I have had crystal light and sugar free jello. My doctor counts that as a liquid. It has been helping.

    I have been reading a lot but am still very anxious about post op. What tips does anyone have that will help with recovery?? Gas pills? What should I have on hand to help besides pain meds.
