  1. I gained 30lbs with my pregnancy my band wasn't properly adjusted and was eating sliders only. I have since be adjusted properly and I'm only down 7lbs!! I work out daily and eat below 1500 calories. Frustrating!! So easy to get fat..hard to get it off! How do you break down your total goal to keep you focused?

Torn on getting my band removed

Thanks for asking! We removed all the fluid for a month and I lost two pounds. He said I was obviously to tight and needed a break. I actually went back today and he told me to give it another shot! If I wanted to remove it he would at anytime. I'm really mentally scared of this band after my aunt passing. I gained 30lbs with this last pregnancy and I just can't stand myself! My baby just turned 4months and I really need to get that weight off! My doctor filled me to 4cc. I was 6.2 when I was getting sick and gad bad reflux. I plan on going back in two weeks for an adjustment. Are you debating on removal? What issues are you having? It's really easy to remove he said and a lot faster than putting it on.

    No more lfill...Empty

Yes I use myfitnesspal and watch every calorie consumed. My band I suppose was so tight at times a glass of 1% milk wouldn't stay down. What I mean by eating well is by following the rules. I drink water and two glasses of 1% milk..no soda. I eat exactly what I'm supposed to. Honestly I know there is others who have had this happen. I have spoken to a few in the office. I am on the verge of throwing in the towel. My aunt died at the age of 64 in March. She couldn't have the surgery she needed because of anemia. My aunt was highly anemic due to her lapband. I'm just wondering long term will it hurt me. I know throwing up all the time was hurting me. My doctor has me going back in a month to discuss if I want it out still and see how I'm doing.

I've been banded since 07 and yesterday I asked my doctor to remove my band. I'm having a hate relationship with it. I'm the biggest I've ever been and I honestly eat well. He said starving won't keep your body from loosing. I find that hard to believe! I was puking multiple times a day and barely getting anything down. I hope when I go back in a month he will see I just don't sit around eating ice cream. It's frustrating when you really watch what you consume. I hope not having any fluid will help! I'm excited to actually be able to eat a boca patty or salad and keep it down! Bring on the scale in a month! Anyone have a rough go with their band? Have you wanted to just get it out?

Torn on getting my band removed

I have been banded since '07. I have had highs and definitely lows. I lost a lot of weight, gained, and lost again and gained it back! I'm just burt out! I'm back close to my original weight. I honestly can't hold food down..somedays I might get lucky and I can eat a boca burger patty only. I'm really scared for my health. I'm 32 and I got shingles. My children's doctor was shocked and asked did I have AIDS. I said no ..I just had a baby and also recently been screened and no change of husband lol. The Dr seemed really concerned why my immune system is so low. Also I have extreme heartburn all the time and my throat hurts. I don't want esophageal cancer! I know some people lie and say oh I don't eat that..or whatever to make excuses to why they gain weight. This is not the case! I drink Water and 2 glasses of 1%milk a day. I TRY to eat a low calorie diet that usually just comes up. I can say I haven't been exercising. I have a two month old baby and a toddler that are giving me a run for my sanity and time! What the heck should I do? Is it me? Could I be doing something wrong? I made an appointment with my surgeon in a week. Any advice would be great!

    Slip

Can a small slip correct itself? My dr said it was where my band had been too tight! Worried don't want surgery again!

    Port & exercise

Try standing ab work. I'm more than 5yrs out and I feel laying on it can be uncomfortable. Not sure if that's normal or not lol

    Cardio & toning up

Yes cardio and light weight toning so you don't bulk up. Light weights more reps will tone ya up! I hate that part of the workout! I'm a cardio girl!! I feel like I will tone it when I will let people see it..yup I'm bad lol
