That upsets me, I workout every day , cardio weight train you name it , I was following a diet and still was only able to take off 40 pounds on my own then hit a plateau that I was unable to shake ,discouraged gained it all back but still at the gym, most people don't wake up one day and say well I guess I will have surgery cause that will be easy . The decision to have WLS for me anyway came after many years of struggle. -
Weight training is very good for weight loss , the more lean muscle you have the more fat you burn

Reduce your carb and sugar intake and water water water , my son is a type one which I know is different but lowering it with out insulin is the same -
I know that vitamins on an empty stomach can cause vomiting ,that may have been the issue if you are only on liquid

I am 5'4 and 223 my bmi is 37.8 which puts me at the morbidly obese range ,I guess it depends on how you feel and are the only person that can decide if its right for you. -
Under armor makes very good supportive clothing , they also make it in larger sizes, I have been working out in it for years

I have read that many banded people can not tolerate rice,bread,pasta, how do any of you find Quinoa ? We eat it in our home and I was just wondering how its handles after you are banded

I was just wondering how the Doctor decides what size band to put in,do you have a choice, I am afraid if they put in a 10cc band for example and its at the max with no restriction there is no where for them to go with it and it was a waste , what are all your thoughts ?

I don't know if they are good for bandsters as I have not got mine yet, however my son has type 1 diabetes and need to eat good carbs and proteins and eats the protein one a lot contains good amount of protein and healthy carbs

So I have made the choice to get the band spoke with my surgeon two days ago and will be booking for July , any dos and donts from those who have already had it done ? I am afraid I will fail at this and not lose the weight I intend to ,its kind of freaking me out a bit ,did any of you have that in the back of your heads that you wont lose the weight?
