I'm 19 and was sleeved 2/6 and I had second thoughts but I have to say this was the BEST decision I've ever made!!! Down 31lbs already!

2/6 sleeved hw: 307 strated lossing weight on my own at 303 1day preop diet:278 sw:270 cw:247 down 31lbs 23 postop. Stalled for 2 weeks! Glad to see the scale move again. Week1:259 week2:252 week3:254 week4:254 week5:247

Congrats to the both of you! I was sleeved at Fremont Kaiser by Dr. Chu on Feb 6. She did an amazing job!!!! I had no major pain only tightness like I kust got done doing a million sit ups. Also very little gas pain. Everyone at Kaiser was great. I even went home the next day.... good luck :-)

February 6th is finally around the corner! Im a newbie trying to gain supporters but also to see others journey as well. Im excited scared nervous etc. Ive always been overweight my hw: 307 sw: 277 cw:276 ht: 5'7 gw: 145-150 but ive been very active since a little kid. I played basketball and was very good and had opportunites to play college ball. I still have a few now and have set a goal for myself to be game ready shape by next bball season. I just cant wait for this life changing surgery!!! WHERE MY FEBRUARY SLEEVERS AT LOL :-)

Im February 6th and had my pre-op today. No liquid diet till day before surgery. Im excited but nervous at the same time this is going to be the longest 11days

Hey everyone! My name is rose and im new to this. Im looking to get more support and hear about everyones wonderful accomplishments. A little bit about me, I have always been over weight. But the only thing is that I've always been active. I played basketball from the 3rd grade to my freshman year in high school but the junk food and stress got the best of me. I gained most of my weight in high school. Now the numbers ughh..... Highest weight:307 Current weight:277 Surgery weight:277 I was just recently contacted by Baratrics at Kaiser in Fremont, California that I will be having surgery on February 6th!!!! Im so happy and excited but nervous at the same time. I have to go to pre-op on the 25th. I just can't wait till February 6th... the day I change my life!

@Kat77 hey surgery twin hope we can get to know each other more and get threw this together! Im 5'7 an inch shorter lol but a bit younger im 20. Hope all is well February isnt coming fast enough for me!!!

Thanks for all the support everyone! And my surgeon is Dr. Chu. The process for me was a little different than others. I started this journey last year February I attended 2 seminars and then met with the nutritionist and surgeon. But after that I wasn't too sure if I wanted to get the surgery so I decided to try one more time on my own but failed! So by November I decided this is the best thing for me and I called Bariatrics but had to get my referral reactivated witch took about a day or 2. Then they called me once they got the referral to set up an appointment over the phone with my surgeon. I had the over the phone appointment and next had to lose 5 pounds to be within 5 pounds of my surgery weight to see the psychiatrist and do blood work. I saw the psychiatrist and she said she was going to give all my paper work over to my surgeon and in a week I got a surprising phone call that I was all good to go and my surgery date is February 6th and pre-op is January 25th.

Congrats hope evrything goes good for you. My surgery is also February 6th!!! Im so excited and cant wait!!
