Help, I can't stop eating
.......... replied to shortsleevedkay's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Breakfast today I had a cup juiced vegetables with pineapple, wedge of tomato. Snack was a small amount of rtd Protein drink with some powdered 1/4 tspn. additions, reishi mushroom, noni, spirillini, chia seeds. lunch was a turkey burger with feta on zero carb bread and organic ketchup, snack was wedge tomato and ounce low cal cheese, dinner another smaller burger with no bread a small amount protein rtd with a few 1/4 tspn.s same powdered additions of which I've several varitions and ways to use each day. I am sure the scale is going to be showing a steady downwards pace for some time to come. I plan to go to a good resturant some day and get something not so dietary once in a while, not in current plans though. I think of it only this early in the game, I was scared of it thinking to only hide behind a salad or what have you and now am satisfied I'll be alright when I do go. I am limited by size and want to add common sense but it's going different than before to enjoy that. -

you should reconsider what you are doing, stop and make a commitment now, I can say it took me a long times in months to work out kinks up to the surgery. What your doing can be what they call a food funeral, but, mostly I think that applies to a day or two where some one does the same and probably not so close to surgery, I believe I read of an indescresion similar a few times, but who knows what others really do about it all. You need to retrain those needs as well as have the lessser crave and hunger after the surgery, redesign how you use those foods and whats the ingrediant you put with the main ingredient into each recipe. It's not that you can not have some portions with your favorite things its how its perpared and what the nutritional value and size is so you can maintane an on going, long term diet of few calories. commit to doing it more yourself if you've taken to restaurants now. -

I am just updated that I ate a couple of these burgers, they are good and on the light side when I made a smaller patty but with out bread though. I used a low carb bread, a bigger patty and then they were really filling from that. I suggest adding extra feta for more flavor from the cheese, as is, the recipe puts some in but it's taste was tangy not quite as much full feta flavor, they blend well though. I also am adding onion to the mix for next burgers I make from what I have left. Enjoy it if you try it.

Yeh, I am already copying many recipes and some I may never use at all so as to not be bored at any time, but simple as a plan is effective when your not adding stuff thats got calories at all. -

I have a pizza crust, haven't made the pizza yet, they are 8 inches diameter, a small healthy pie with vegies, low fat cheese, and such would be a few meals for one, maybe 3, depends on your caloric intake during a day and per meal. I have 2 ideas for it, goat cheese, pesto, tomato, pepper and just plain jane spicy sauce, mozzarelle, onions mushrooms. -

Do you mean in the link for the bakery, yes, I like it for a no and/or low carb bread, bread slices are kind of thick, its very filling all and all, the slices have 60 cal.s each, but when trusting its zero carbs the energy does fall into the blood stream as sugars and it should be good in Atkins or lower carb eating and counting. I wrote them and told them in an email I would leave a review and that I did notice that also. Ah, it is kind of expensive, a couple reasons to get it would be selections, fair to good on taste, seems to be real as I can't just say it, suites diet for this. It going to last a while for my uses having gotten what they call a 3 box. -

Confused between joining a weightloss center and getting WLS
.......... replied to christy38's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Wait loss center may be a very viable way to go, I used treatment doctor years before trying this and knowing I needed do it. YES, it worked, BUT, at the time I was given pills to aid the whole thing. This bouncing dieting then finally spending years more time obese than the other led me to believe I needed WLS as a most perminant fixture in attaining best goal and result at length. Also, I would add, a program like that may teach you much valued life lessons that will stick regardless of the re-gain, which took me average 2 to 3 years each time I acchieved best weight I was satisfied with and wore regular clothes etc... -

Good luck to you also, it's not simple but not as hard as my fears about it began telling me.

I had about 12 channels of health news and hospital tv plus a few regular channels and that was it, got totaly duped on missing my fave tv shows.

Your choice you two, plainly, we all know enough about it. I'd kick you out the room if you told my old man not to light at his age on occasions I was with him. I've been able to had stay quit for a good long while, not saying did I have half a smoke, or light up again now, so what, its plainly foolish to say so when el critico is watching and for fun of just that. I tried many times before and had some good time years ago and several times longest amounted to 2 yrs 4 mths. Regardless it is a big pile up when your asked to stop all your vices at once and stress will be there for sure starting the weeks after this surgery. It's not understandable by a non smoker properly. I tell you this much too, I do not drink alcohol period, as a fact, I should hope that doesn't have the effect that some one will come to call me an idiot for saying a thing about also. Vaping hasn't the carsenigens, it's a hard question to answer, I am unsure there is developed info there but it stops craving as it provides nicotine if you buy the ones that are at that strength. If your at half a cigarette you can purchase nic gum and chew instead.

Yea, whos ? what do you know if we smoke or not or are still caught up in it.
