Try a cold compress, freeze a few dampened washclothes and hold them on your head and neck. Those head aches are the worst. -
Weight loss and Shaving - Who'd have thought?
.......... replied to *Dean*'s topic in The Guys’ Room
I will look them up Deano, it's interesting, I learned watching this exact type razor + brush shaving yet never used one more than a few times. If the soap seems that good to me, I may end up wanting to give it all a whirl in the future. thanks -
Question*~* Did anyone take diet pills prior to surgery?
.......... replied to MzFree-Spirited Vsg's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
The old prescritptions were some times very effective but they took allot of the market as well as the 3 pill coctail including phentermine as a part. The latest news is that they have aproved one which also has the phentermine in it but its the first in 10 years. Over the counters have herbals now as well, they are not so good. I use a natural resource algea called spirulina which has an over powering taste and I put it in blenderized drinks. It takes some getting used to if you hadn't drank anything like it before. -
RAAinNH, I can't really state one way or another on having pointed out tiny seeds, but I have read it thats reason some don't eat berries but also I am just told no fruit. I am going to surgeons office this week and his nut see's me at this time. I have been wanting to have a better discussion what's allowed as it goes for fruits, also I am probably out of any stage near enough to think it may effect that.
-
some fruits are also fiberous as well as tiny seeds, my nut is a NO to any sugars any way.
-
There is this, I would though be disregarding my nut at this point to fully add any fruit, I did end up using a little.Know your own limits I would suggest; also ask, ask the persons that give your guidlines. http://www.livestron...ts-weight-loss/ and this one: http://healthmeup.co...r-snacking/4699

Weight loss and Shaving - Who'd have thought?
.......... replied to *Dean*'s topic in The Guys’ Room
I don't know, I'd ask about the soap, wouldn't care to with out the right soap. My Gramps used the same with a disc or worn down hand soap, the disc was scented as I recall but not so much more years ago, I still get allot out of creams in a can. That must be weighted nicely giving a different feel in a shave I guess, whats the cost for one ? -
You have witnesses, you can bring that **** to court and win a suite against the company as well. The subject matter is not as important, that stooge showed a film and directed harrassment toward your situation which caused a reaction. http://www.eeoc.gov/laws/practices/harassment.cfm

I like Dannon oikos 0% fat ( second best ) and Muller 0% fat (tastes best )but now only eat the yogurt side now. When I buy large container I get Chobani (always real fresh). Don't like yoplait texture at all but it seems better at 100 cal cups and flavors are alright.

these are real good, I buy them at www.Nuts.com / http://www.nuts.com/...d-unsalted.html they're way better than peanuts, loaded with protien. Just waiting that they be ok for post op diet which it seems this week I just now get a bag. They also sell fresh edamame un roasted bagged at area grocers, unsure that I can roast them I can how ever saute them, steam or add to recipe but haven't ventured so far, just love the roasted snack.

I got the creeps a little over missing stomach part at times same as you it added a little anxiety to that, but that passes and so did the thought all and all more as time has moved along. -
Yea, I am using bits and pieces only vegies and run through a juicer, I add some top leaves from cilantro and a brocolli flouret minus stemy parts in a nutri bullet, chunk onion actually too, about 3/4 to a cup. I drink part and refridgerate too, But I'll tell you it seems to add to the fat burn to have one a day for now. works for my stomach best now with out much fiberous parts. I am looking at new equipment and a nice high speed blender that will process green/seeds/etc.. and or also a very expensice juicer I have to make up my mind if and when to purchase them but youch ! they cost a bunch. Protein Drink is a scoop light Protein powder, Water !, 1/4 tspn.s spirullina, turmeric. macca powders. sometimes add the cacoa bliss less than 1/2tspn. and dash of milk, it is fat but tastes like chocolate with a little agave too, just drops though for this. Sames sizes, look at it like my meal as a combo mornings.I am adding snack times at this point so I get some protein then between this and lunch.

Drinking and eating
.......... replied to SimplyFAB's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
actually set a timer first weeks, still at times do, have one on the table with food, eat, set, drink. I've taken to sipping one or twice at times when meals seem dense going down, most times just adhere and wait. Also took to using some vites and crushed pills at meals and then waiting along that time as a measure against washing out through the needed pill or vite. -
just wanted to repost this web link here; a public national directory walking trails us; http://www.traillink.com/ I believe this web site may be free of charge to use. http://www.trails.com/ This web page is navigable yet may ask for payment to sign up. scenic, wooded, kept trails, some large for jogging and biking, some limited to walking. in my own area they have retaken several wooded area and seamed these trails togather as well as many on there own in park settings. Most are very kid friendly when they can walk them, have parking area's ,some would be a great outing as they have many facets with in descriptions, like bird reserve area, bridges, lake and ponds. just a nice walking experiece.

Mr.Butterthebean, Your green formula is inspiration enough try just as you wrote it, I willing to give a go in some weeks from now when I think I can fill up more and faster with it, right now I get still a bogged down full feeling and am using small drink I just fudge together. Like that spirillina and in tiny amount too, gets me through at this point extending what the start was like for me. I have several more powders also, but I'll tell you I can probably still just use a shot galss with every meal and snack and but I miss some of feeling the real charge you get from a well made blender drink or juicing. How long does it take you to drink it ? amytug, a best old friend/friends had 8 kids in that family, they're house was a riot, I practicaly lived there some of the time when I was allot younger as a teenager.

Over 400Lbs Gastric Sleeve Success Story
.......... replied to jasminem89's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
at 397 I turned it around and started with having my primary doc send referal the day he weighed me in. had the surgery at 366 Dec 2012, now 306. Having a trainer will be like nothing else, I hope you found the one that has been with similar clients before. Go for it, you seem like you really want to and it is great to be so light on my feet in non binding clothes, you'll love it. -
Only if we were rich, lol, we can buy the 1 or more machines of our choice and put them into our central air conditioned homes to use when we'd like and take a sauna then swim in our pool all while some else wathces the kids. Gyms have fees too, crowds, as well as smells and noise and what have you, Just 2 years of the treadmill at home will make a world of difference, May need some type small dumbells amytug, think of that alittle, doesn't need be allot but some muscle build is good when running to keep balance. You know plastic hand weights, just something extra.

Being encouraged to get the band over the sleeve
.......... replied to rockdutchess82's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
almost got one in 2005, went through with everything up to last minute. I like that I have sleeve better because low maintanence with no fills, better absorbtion and no complication such as food getting stuck, they had told me, no bananas, no bread amongst what sticks in it. -
I have a 4 dose bottle 1000, pharmacist gave me free needles, works better than my subligual ever did as I've an on going need from 7 years back.I will get nuropethy like symptoms with out. One shot, what a change, I only tried this post surgery and its worked wonderfully in comparison, I don't worry now about missing my daily any more and have better results with effectiveness.
