New pact made...we keep doing what we are suppose to and stay off the scales. They aren't the only measure of our success. -

I was sleeved on 3/5. Had lost 21 lbs since, but over the past few days, I've gained 2 lbs back. Am I the only loser who has gained weight? -
Good luck, OKSleever! I had a great experience with Dr. B. He did my surgery 3 weeks ago tomorrow. The surgery will likely be the easiest part of your journey. The adjustments it causes you to make, that the hard part...at least that has been my experience thus far.

Awkward time... I've started having yellow, foaming, burning diarrhea. I googled it, and my results referred to possible gallbladder issues. However, google doesn't know I've had surgery. Anyone else having this problem? Not sure if I'm experiencing a "normal" symptom or have a big problem on my hands. Thanks all! -

MK1986, MiraLAX dissolves into any drink hot/cold with no taste what so ever. It's great. I was sleeved 3/5 and started taking it every other day a few days ago. I'm actually pretty regular. However, I know have to be very careful when passing gas... :/ -

How long did everyone wait post-op to start c25k? I am in a c25k program/group now pre-op and am debating on if I will be ok to join back 2 weeks post-op.

Good luck on Wednesday! My surgery is 3/5 at Weight Wise in Edmond. Are you on the liquid diet for pre-op weight loss, or is that what your surgeon requires? I just have to do Clear liquids the day before surgery. I find it interesting how each facility seems to have developed their own way of approaching surgery.

Has anyone bought this insurance package? If so, where you happy that did? I'm trying to decide if I need to spend even more money just on case I have complications following my WLS.

Did anyone who is self-pay get offered/purchase any of the BLIS insurance packages or wish you would have?

How did it go? How long did you have to stay at Summit?

I live in Tulsa, and am using Dr. Broussard. I am supposed to have my pre-op appointment tomorrow and my surgery 3/5. Anyone else in Tulsa using/used Weight Wise? If so, are you still driving to Edmond for group meetings or have you found some closer than you are able to attend? My husband and a couple of friends are the only people who know of my decision to have WLS surgery. No one is supportive right off the bat, but after I share my journey, they still disagree but ultimately just want me to be happy. At this point, I am leaning on just keeping my decision private. This was a hard decision for me to reach, and it's even more difficult to be defending my choice to everyone. Has anyone else experienced this? Ultimately, what I've notice is that no one in my current support system is educated enough on WLS to give me the approval/support I am looking for...
