I am miserable overfill? Please Help!!!!!
New Hope replied to Kelly Ann's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Certainly not an expert, but a stomach virus might also give you major stomach cramps, diarrhea, and/or possible fever. I've never heard of it giving you sliming or hiccups. That sounds like you might be too tight. I had a fill that was too much, just removing 0.2cc made all the difference in the world. Take care and don't get caught over the weekend w/o care available. Most ERs are not familiar w/the lapband. Please let us know what you decide to do. Hope you get better. -
Kid Rock doing anything!

How do people get along without this?

And you go right past me so I'll be waiting. Sounds like you better come in a bus. The Harley won't hold all of us! Paula, get to cooking, girl! -
I'm trying to get up my nerve and also find a camera with a good safety/wide-angle lens. And, if I looked as good as you do in your leathers, I'd be posting my picture everywhere! 16 x 20 glossies all over the place.

And that's just a small sample of what you have in store for them!!! Take care and have a speedy recovery.

I loved those things! They felt like a massage. But I had to get someone to "disconnect" me everytime I went to the bathroom...which was OFTEN so I finally took them off.
-
And didn't Jack mention he'd do something in leather?

Could be "PMS"...post male syndrome. It happens to the best of them. :laugh -
I had a tons of tests to go through also. But I wanted to know that everything was good before I got my band. One of the things they discovered on the ab. ultrasound was a very bad gallbladder. It was removed when I got my band. Your heart, reflux, and sleep apnea problems really need to be addressed whether you get a band or not. These can all cause serious, silent problems that you're not aware of. Get that clean bill of health, get your band, and know you're healthier! Best of luck to you!

Blossom, just have your hubby dig a pond for you.

I vote both in a side by side.

You'll get the most accurate information from your benefits coordinator at your job. Each company sets their own rules on what is and isn't covered. Be sure and specify the adjustable silicon gastric banding (or Lapband) surgery so they'll know what type of weight loss surgery you're interested in. Best of luck to you!

Poor guy, we've probably scared him to death!

Well, Leatha did it!! Bras and thongs in Galveston.
-
Sounds like you're on your way.

Stayed overnight and glad of it because of the bariatric bar to help getting in and out of bed and being able to get pain meds through the i.v.
-
So what's the next thing your "Becky" needs us to solve? Tell her we're more than happy to oblige. LOL
-
That's wonderful!

Yeehah - it's going ahead tomorrow

That's wonderful news, Rachel! You're new life is already beginning. (((Hugs))) and prayers. -
Trish, our Hagerteresa is 5'1, banded 5/04, began @ 362,now 279. That's 83 lbs.! She lost over 60 lbs. before she got her first fill. There are others here. How about scheduling an appt. w/a qualified lapband surgeon and getting his/her professional opinion? Hang in there, girl! You didn't get this way overnight and it may take a while but please take the time to research all your options and understand what to expect.

O.K., you've established that you're tough....but you don't have to do everything in one day! Lighten up! Your body has gone through a mini-war inside. Please give it time to recouperate. You can put your superman cape back on in a few days. Just snuggle up w/it right now. Best of luck to you!

Are these foods ok?? 2.5 weeks post-op

Once I got to "mushies", my surgeon said anything that you run through the blender first. I just blended whatever I'd fixed for the family. -
You really could use someone staying with you. It will be very helpful. Just getting over the effects of anesthesia, lying down to rest if you want, running to the store for you if you need anything. If you're groggy from the pain meds. you'll know your daughter is fine. This is very temporary but you want to let your body heal well. Best of luck to you!

(((Ryan))), you're a hoot! Maybe your Becky can come over and just do all of the laundry for you. Then she'll be satisfied w/how it's getting done. But if this hasn't bothered Patty in the past, hey it must be working. I don't even want to think how my family would do the laundry! No wonder your pants are falling off, you're running around trying to please everybody.
-
Ryan, that is wonderful!! Now, please get some suspenders before your pants fall off! Congratulations!
