How about posting a picture of you wearing them and your "sexy bra"?

[quoteSo for those of you for whom the scale is not moving, I'M TELLING YOU - the body does secret compacting stuff, even when the scale doesn't move. So I don't know why, I don't know how, and I don't really care... I'm still shrinking, no matter what the scale says. So there, scale! [/b] Yeah, Donali!!! You continue to be a fantastic source of inspiration. What did your little boyfriend think of you modeling his jeans? :Bunny :Bunny :banana :Bunny :Bunny :banana

Keeps us on our toes, doesn't it?

Neicy, beautiful family! I know you're so proud and enjoy your grandkids so much! I am also technically challenged. Hey, Leatha, talk us through this!

Wow, all drs. say something different! I got my first fill on Monday. He said liquids the rest of the day, then eat normally because he wanted to know if I was going to have any problems. He gave me 1.3, but I had him pull it back to 1.0. I just didn't want to get too much and have problems right off the bat. I think I prefer the slow and easy method. I went shopping the rest of the day, following the fill. This one didn't bother me. But I know each time can be different.

:Bunny :Bunny :banana :Bunny :Bunny :banana Well, at least I didn't blow up anything!

4 fantastic grandkids and a beautiful daughter to boot! How wonderful!

Amen, Bright! Hey, missed you, good to see you back!

Yes, Alex, thank you so much! I'd like to hear a little bit about you and what caused you to start "Lapband". (Whoops, should that be another thread?) -
Terry, I'm so sorry. I was recently reading "Chicken Soup for the Cat and Dog Lovers". One person said that God in his infinite wisdom made animals' lives shorter than humans because he knew we couldn't handle the grief of having them for a longer period of time.

Getting banded on Friday 8/6/04
New Hope replied to cateringqueen's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Cateringqueen, Best of luck on your surgery tomorrow! Here's to an uneventful surgery and minimum pain recovery. Where will you be having your surgery? -
Hopefully, Kemmerling's office knows how to direct-contact Chua's office and get you some help.
-
I hear you talking, Donali!

You're a new member, Tina. Keep reading. This is an excellent source of factual info. and support from bandsters, not lapband drs. We're fortunate in that we're not funded by the drs. and can state the truth. -

You suddenly really notice how many darn food commercials there are! -
Darcy, what in the world are you doing mowing the yard? Hey, it'll be there tomorrow (or whenever someone does it). You need to get on the horn and let your surgeon's office know that you are in pain. Chances are if you end up in an ER, they won't know what to do for you. The weekend's fast approaching. Please get an answer before then.

Carolyn, I know that you are so sad. But you and your family must be so thankful that this problem was found before it became fatal. That is so scary! Please give yourself the time needed to heal. If you feel like it, you might want to read a couple of helpful Support posts: Donali's Secrets to Success and Michelle's Moments. They both give several excellent ideas about how to daily live a healthier life. And that's why we've gotten the band, right? Keep posting here, this is a wonderful support group. Best of luck to you! Hugs and prayers,

SO SCARED-advice on severe acid reflux!---
New Hope replied to mbz's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Would you please take the time to read Texasbelle's post "Need answers please"? Is this what you're willing to risk because you won't act responsibly? You can get advice here until you're blue in the face. But the bottom line is that you are the only one who can make your own health decisions. We are banded patients, not drs. I hope that you will take care of yourself SOON. Your family needs you here, not six feet under. -

Hang in there! It's temporary. Just think you've already started losing those "forever gone" pounds! -
Oops, I asked you about your dr. visit on another thread. I should have looked before I posted.
-
Boy, you can say those again! How did your dr. visit go?
-
Hi Hopeful! I can tell we have the same goals just by your screen name. What part of Colorado are you in? We're planning a vacation there in October to see your beautiful Aspens. Best of luck to you on your banding journey! P.S. I still don't know how to post a "smiley face" or do a "quote".
-
Michelle (Shelly), would you mind posting some of your hard-earned lessons on "living with the band"? You have done an absolutely fantastic job! What was your beginning weight, current weight, height, co-morbidities (if any)? How long have you been banded? Any band-related problems? Please share anything you've learned that you feel is beneficial. Thanks so much! Congratulations on a "job well done"!

Best of luck, Ryan! Keep us posted!
