I can't wait To shop for cheap cute little clothes Swim without fearing of other trying to push me back into the water (whale ) For the seatbelt not to squish me To ride rides without fear of not fitting My list is long but most of all I hope the surgery lowers my pain on my joint affected with rheumatoid arthritis. -

I agree toothdoc a JP drain is not worse than a cathater. I had breast reduction and I had a tube on each breast. It didn't hurt just felt weird when they came out.

I have been a nurse for aaallllooonnngggggg time. Nothing grosses me out!

Bebulz Check with your doctor first to see if he does do one. Remember it is a tool to make sure your not leaking fluid into your abdomen. Not all doctors do them. If he does then it just becomes something that you say ok I want a healthy life, a drain tube for a week, doable. To me this is a small thing to endure for the long term of my health and having a kick a*s body! ~Missy~
