what a great weight loss, let's fill up them bags girls. This morning I was looking for a shirt to wear for church and I had to throw 2 in a box for yard sale, so it is wonderful (TOO BIG).

Since surgery 5/05/04 I have had 2 adjustments. I am at 2cc. I am getting another next week. I am embarrassed because I think I should be doing better. I've lost 23lbs. But, I can really eat with no problem.. Doctor said he will fix me up next week. What do you guys & gals think.

I just can tolerate so much like I don't even have a band. For example, diet drinks, no problem, I just feel like I'm too hungry and I can eat a lot. I love ya'll. I'll talk to him and go from there. Thanks again.

didn't mean to get into all the scientifics of the band, but I do appreciate your advice. I guess, I would prefer a better approach of advice than to have someone sound like a crime was going to be committed. Thanks for what all you told me though. Good luck to you also.

1st of all, I have studied plenty on the band, my doctor is gonna give me a fill that will allow me plenty of restriction. I don't feel a lot of restriction, and I know that losing slow is the best. IT IS A TOOL, and I know all about it. He is an great doctor and I feel that he will get the job done.. Slow is the best. But, I want alittle help with control. I am still excited!

For some reason he said it holds 4. I don't really understand it, but if it takes all the 4 I'll take it. The main thing is to have enough to help with the amt of eating and wt loss.

I will ask him to withdraw and see how much is in there. He said that sometimes that some have to have a large fill to reach their goal and it just depends on the person. My band is 9cc, or 9 something so I don't know how much it holds. Does anyone else?

My doctor said that a lot of patients will make up in their mind that they have a lot of restrictions and that they really don't. So, try to get your mind thinking that even though your band is gone, you still have your restriction. And do as before and be with all of us. You can do it!

When we go out for pizza, usually buffet. I scrape all the toppins (meat & cheese) off and then eat that instead of all that bread. I can ususally eat quite a bit. But, kit's a lot of protein in cheese and meet, then a small salad... -

I had my first fill at 6 wks and it was .8cc. He didn't want to ruin my vacation and wanted to go small. However, yesterday, which was one week later. He filled me an extra 1.2cc's. I felt a difference, because when I drank for him. I heard a gurgly soulds as it was going down slowere. I feel that i will experence moer redtriction now, I'm excited. But, we are are different. Just go by how your fill during adjustments.

I have a large bruise also. I think it's from the slight extra pressure that they use to insert the needle into the port. Mine has been like that for a week. I just had it done again yesterday again, so I can imagine how I'm gonna look bruise-wise. I think you'll be fine.

Is there a white spot in the middle? I would get it checked out. Recluse spider bites spread and then flesh starts to be destroyed. Don't let it spread anymore. You go girl..

I don't like the bee sting of the numbing part. It hurts when he moves the needle abit to center over the port. But, once it's in place it's fine.

I don't blame you, the lady that had it the same day I did, she's lost 45lbs and hasn't got a fill yet. I've only lost 18lbs and they say it's different for everyone. Good luck

We'll I got my fill today, I went from .8 to 2cc. I can tell a difference when I drink. I'm so happy.

I had a fill last fri 18th and my doctor put .8 in since I was going on a trip. I called today and told them I didn't feel anything, and I can't believe that at 10am I'm going in again to add more. I'm so happy and shocked I get to go so soon. I'm gonna ask for 1.5? Is that too much to ask? Hope not.

I got my 1st fill on the 18th .8 I don't feel any different. I know that I ate too much on vacation and it wasn't bad foods, just that I can eat a lot. The doctor told me to call and we would add more. Do you all agree that this is needed?
