Hi everyone! My name is Stephanie. Im new here but have been reading thru this forum for some time now. Im glad to finally be able to say that my insurance is going to cover the procedure!!!! As alot of you may be able to relate, I have dreamed of this since I was in my teens since dieting were all failed efforts! Im looking for people that i can relate to and share this journey with! So many of you are already role models and dont even realize who sees what youve done and the example youve set!!!

Had my consultation now to meet with a shink and dietician next week!!! After that I wait for the approval. This is happening so fast. I know that is not the norm so I feel blessed

I have my consultation on thursday with my surgeon. The lady I have been working with at the office says bcbs is pretty easy and I could be banded as soon as march! What a blessing. My anxiety and excitement are through the rough. Have any of you guys been banded yet? All these emotions are making it an amazing experience already and I havent even really started!
