As long as you're not hurting then you are ok! Today I ate some chicken Pasta, took extra small bites and it actually went down well. Now I just have to learn to eat slower and chew longer.
-
I need to eat slower.
-
I think I'm eating too fast. Maybe I should wait at least 3 minutes between each bite.
-
How many bites per minute do you guys take? And how big are the bites? How long does it take you to chew?
-
I think I'm eating too fast. Is 2 bites per minute too fast?

I am 8 months post op and I always gag and throw up foam with a combination of burp every time I eat. It usually starts about 20 minutes after I eat. Suggestions on why this is happening?
-
Yup! 85 lbs. it's hard for me to eat slow, how long does it take you to finish a meal?

Now if only I could find a way to get my liquids in!

I finally found a meal I could hold down (7 months post op) TUNA!! I mixed it with mustard, chopped celery, chopped onions. I feel like I'm finally going to get my nutrients in!

I'm about to start waking up extra early, suggestions on how to prepare my coffee?

It's nice to hear that eating slow its not abnormal. It's just hard, especially when I have a timed lunch!

I've noticed that I need to eat really really slow in very small pieces in order to keep anything down. Is this normal! I'm 7 months post op.
