I'm jealous! I'm 4 days post op and going through pain. I know this will be worth it. I was gonna go back to work on Tuesday but I'm thinking I will be taking the whole week off. -
Hey guys! I need some motivation, encouragement, and/or tips. I had my surgery this past Thursday so I'm 3 days post op. I'm having horrible stomach pains and my back is starting to hurt. I don't know if my stomach pains are coming from my swollen stomach, the incisions, or trapped gas. Anyone been through the same road and willing to offer some advice? I'm taking my liquid pain meds but nothing seems to work. :/

I have become a walking maniac! Lol. I just sent my husband to buy me some gas x strips. Hopefully they help. I'll take anything at this point! like you, I don't regret it either. I can already tell I'm shedding inches even though the scale says otherwise (I'm still swollen). Thanks for the motivational words!

Walking it is then! Here I go! On another note, how do I know that I'm aching from gas being trapped and not something else?

I'm meeting with my nurse tomorrow one last time prior to my Surgery on Thursday. Any recommendations on some questions I should ask her?

Anxiously awaiting my surgery. I'm set to arrive at the hospital at 7 am. I'm afraid of not waking up fom surgery, is this normal?

I had surgery already and I'm alive woooo hooooo! Now I just need to del with this gas pains!

I hear that we gain weight at first due to all the gas and fluids. I've gained 3 lbs too and I haven't consumed no more than 500 calories since Thursday. I'm more concerned about this pain, just going to take it one day at a time

Thanks for your advice. I guess I'm going to have to tell people at work the reason for my absenteeism. And well, you know how people always talk crap, it's amazing what envy can do. It's all good though, when I have my hot body....then I'll really give them something to talk about

Everyone has been telling me to walk but my stomach hurts more after I walk, I don't get it :/
