Thank you that's really helpful - this week has been better since I cut carbs not so hungry or bothered by food I think carbs are my demon soon as I eat them I just want to eat all day! Thanks again won't give up!!

Thanks for all listening I know I need to put effort in too but just desire that feeling of ok I don't need or want anymore! I think il get another fill and see how I get on just kinda surprised I need so much last time I went it was new nurse she had no idea what I had I told her but she said she wanted to check so measured it then - I wouldn't ever eat if I was full but it takes a lot to make me full and I don't go 4 hours without feeling some hunger - think I'm going to cut carbs dramatically I lost a lot of weight before doing that and the hunger goes when I do that - thanks again for listening was very down yesterday over it - I didn't pay for it my dad did so kind of feel like I'm letting him down too

I wish I'd never got it I was told it would stop me over eating and I'd physically not be able to over eat I feel like I have been mid sold this and wasted thousands if I could cut back and not over eat I'd have lost the weight myself years ago? Struggling to see the point of the band if you can eat past it - and if its down to will power why doesnt everyone do that anyway? i was told by surgeon id not be able to ear most meat or bread thats why i thought that - sorry to be negative but not feeling very positive right now about this thanks for the advice though

They checked last time as she didn't know what I was up too said it was all ok just so surprised I'm nearly at max yet I can still eat bread, rice, meats etc am I being impaitent expecting some weight loss in 5 months?

Hi need advice had my band done end jan I am bigger now than I was!! I have a 10ml band and had 7 put in every time they do it for few days I think finally its working and I struggle to eat Nd feel full quick but within a week I can eat fine I can eat a big plate of food no problem - been told to get another done but what's the point if it only works for couple days a time?! I'm trying to cut down myself to lose weight I know the band isn't a miracle but I am wondering why I spent thousands on it as so far it's not helping me at all any advice or experience the same thing? Thanks

I'm the same had surgery in jan and I've gained weight I'm so depressed and sick of it had 3 fills up to 7 in a 10 band but not feeling any restriction starting to regret getting it I know how u feel hugs

Yeah I was surprised especially as I paid private I said don't u check it she said I don't need to I can feel it!

Thank u just confused me as I did have some restriction but lost it this week?! When they do fills they just inject me they don't check it it amazes me she knows exactly where it is but I just lie down get the full and go!

Hi can anyone help I was banded end of jan and not lost anything!!! the weight i lost was post op and it allwent back on soon as i started eating normally after the liquid stage i am gutted but think I'm relying on band to work some miracle!! Had two fills and last one for first few weeks I had few stuck episodes and couldn't eat some stuff, however over month later I can now eat whatever and it doesn't get stuck? Is that normal or have I stretched it?! Going for another next weekend just stressed out and gutted I thought this was my answer but now not so sure thanks x

I know I'm the same everyone says you should stick to rules well if I could do that I'd have done that years ago and not need a band! I need it to stop me more than it is now just because I have it in me doesn't mean my twenty years of bad habits have gone too! Think I just need to realise its a slower process than id first hopped for!!

Marfar7 thanks you have made me feel better! Was banded jan 25th not lost one pound since then the weight I lost on liquid stage has gone back on and I can eat anything and I don't feel any different, I know I'm eating too much but its because I can and in hungry a lot still! Had one fi and hoped this would help but it hasn't so your post has given me some faith!! Thanks was feeling really down all this week that it wasn't going to work for me x

I got banded 26th jan not lost a pound and can eat what I want still had one fill got 3ml in I'm feeling really down now I thought this would work but I'm not convinced anymore

I lost ten pound but since I went on normal food I've put back on 7 !! very discouraged but hoping it will sort itself as I'm getting first fill on Tuesday I was banded on 27th jan
