Hi was banded two weeks ago and since then I have lost my appetite completely! Never thought id say that!! Know this is kind of the idea and not complaining but is this normal before a fill? I can drink liquids fine and having soups etc but just not interested in anything! I'm only having it as I need the calories! I was expecting to be a bit hungry by now as my pain has gone has anyone else found this? Going for band assessment in 3 weeks I'm assuming I don't need a fill then?! Happy but baffled lol

I am so glad I went through with this I was a big binge eater it was making my life miserable I said to doctor it's not so much about me losing weight its about feeling in control a bit and for first time in years I do!! The weight loss is a bonus

It's so strange I don't mind this it isn't a bad feeling as I can get stuff down ok and it doesn't hurt or anything but I'm bad at getting my calories in! I'm was force fed today by my mum as I got to 4pm and hadn't had anything no wonder I'm sooo tired! Just after years of being hungry constantly its weird!

Omg I'm same hiccups are awful I thought sneezing was bad but keep having hiccups its horrible!! Lol the more u want them to stop though the more they carry on

Thanks hope so I can feel the port and it hurts to cough or anything apparently that could be due to having the hernia fixed too struggling to sleep as I can't sleep on my back fingers crossed this goes soon!

Hi just had surgery yesterday and suffering today i have a high pain threshold normally!! It's the trapped wind all round my neck and shoulders really hurting me and got tightness across my chest its not nice didn't sleep much at all! Know its to be expected but liquid paracetamol is not cutting it is there anything else I can have? He said I'd have bit more pain as he repaired a hernia I had no idea I had! I've got 10ml band and he put in 1 ml in x

I'm confused now my surgeon told me u do get restriction so u physically can't over eat it may take a while to get to that as they do fills by stages but I can't understand why people are telling her you don't get restriction when u clearly do? Some people can't eat certain food that's nothing to do with head hunger is it that's restriction? Sorry but that article makes no sense to me!!
