I've been thinking the same thing. Got my 3rd fill last Tuesday (added 1.5 cc) & now if I have more than just a tiny swallow of water I feel the tightness in my chest and back. I'm going to call my Dr tomorrow because I've started getting sick even with just liquid... But I have lost 8lbs since the last fill... But I'd like to still be able to eat something! :-/

I kinda have the same problem. I've had 2 fills now and I'm still hungry... I get full faster and with less food, but then I'm hungry1-2 hrs later. My Dr said that it can take up to 8 fills before you hit the green zone. I'm hoping it doesn't take that long!!! And I keep losing and gaining the same 5lbs for the last 2 wks... If you feel like something is wrong, call your Dr! Good luck!!!

I got my first fill/adjustment yesterday. I can already tell that it's not enough... (I'm at 2cc's) They want me to go in every 2 weeks until I'm reach the green zone. Wish me luck!

Question: I was banded 2/7 & my belly is really itchy! Has anyone else had this problem? It's not the incisions but around them. Pleae help, it's driving me nuts...

Can anyone tell me how long till I can start sleeping normally? I'm a side sleeper and no matter how many pillows I use I just can't get comfortable on my back...

I've been eating Sonic ice most of the day so I hope I'm getting enough liquid. I've been using an ice pack on my port area, that seems to help but I still don't feel like I can stand up completely straight. I'm just hoping I can sleep in bed tonight instead of ending up on the couch... Congrats to you as well!!!

I was banded yesterday too! I'm actually hurting more today than yesterday. I keep trying to walk around to help with the gas. (I feel like there's a lot of pressure in my chest) Were any of you more sore on the 2nd day? And how long does it take for the port area to heal? That's where I feel the most pull or stretching...

I was just banded yesterday @ 8 and back home by noon. I slept for a few hours but woke up with gas pains. I use Gas-X strips that dissolve on the tongue, they really help! And I've found that when I get nauseous it's because I need to burp, so I walk around the backyard till I burp a few times and it makes me feel much better!!! I have a question: How have you guys been sleeping? I tried laying in bed last night but couldn't get comfortable so I laid on the couch but that made my back hurt...and I don't have a recliner. Any advise?

Ok, had my band done yesterday and thought I was doing pretty well till I tried going to bed... any suggestions on how to sleep in bed? I had to sleep on the couch because I couldn't lay flat or on my side in be. And I feel like I might have pulled something trying to get out of bed... :-(

I am officially banded!!! I am sore, but not as bad as I thought I would be. I knew I had a hernia, but the Dr said it was much bigger than he thought it would be, so it may take a little longer to heal...My ice pack has been my best friend! Gas pains haven't been too bad. I took a gas-x as soon as I got home & when my neck/back start to hurt I get up and start walking, it really does help!!!

I had my "Final Meal" last Friday. I just had to have some crab legs! Lol! Saturday I started my liquid diet. I haven't really been that hungry till today. But I've got my protein shake so I'll be fine. I get banded Thursday! Can't wait!

Three more days! Thursday is the day! I'm so excited! I am getting a little nervous, but I know I'm making the right choice for my life & my family! Any tips before & on surgery day?
