I'm scheduled for Dec 29th band to sleeve. Anyone else doing a conversion -
I am also scheduled for the 29th. For some reason the doctor did not require that I go on any type of liquid diet before the surgery I am doing a conversion band to sleeve what is the reasoning behind the liquid diet? I did not have to do it for my band either. What gives?

Sign me up too! Got the band 2013 scheduled for sleeve Dec 29 2015. I have been in the worst pain for the last year. I was also told, " it could stay in forever" thank god this isn't permanent! It has a mind of its own. I never know when the pain is coming. Totally messes all events and vacation up. I will be glad when it is out! -

Hi everyone i just got band on 01/03/13 without a fill and now that i am eating mushies i am gaining weight. I go and get a fill this sat. will that help. My starting weight was 220 and i got down to 205 and now i am back to 209. I s this normal please let me i didnt spend thousands of dollors not to lose weight. I will be PISSED!

oh man i sure hope it gets better. I spent a lot of money. I am sure things will get better. it has to. I mean we are restricted some what and even with that we should still lose right? Maybe it just takes a little while. I am trying to eat a higher protien diet and walk for 45 minutes a day. I was always told if we consume less then we burn then we should lose weight. We just have to stick with it.

I some what followed. The first 10 day definatly liquids. Now i am doing mushed stuff or atleast very solf. I am trying to get as many protiens as I can.

awesome! I go this saturday for a my first fill. Hey I have only lost 11 lbs is that normal? everyone else has lost alot. I had lost 15 but i have put back on a couple due to eating mushies. Did you experience this? I am also very hungy is that normal?

Thank you for your reply. Should i being fasting or anything before i get a fill done? This whole process went very fast because i paid cash for mine i don't think i have enough info on how things are to be done.
