Yeah I went to the first game after the fight in St Louis. My buddy in the AF is stationed nearby. We all wore " I agree with BP" shirts needless to see we weren't popular with Cards fans Lol. BP hit a HR and Reds won it was awesome! Some guy in a wheelchair rolled up to me and told me he was gonna kick my a**! Lol It's the same with Molina here. Reds fans hate him, but IMO he's the best catcher in the game. He's a beast. With that being said I vote for Posey in all star voting because I can't vote for Cardinals players

Examples of pureed and soft food?
Creekwood replied to newskinnygal's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
For purée I liked chili a lot, refried beans with ff sour cream, cheese, salsa, I did meatballs with spaghetti sauce, pizza sauce/cheese of your choice, then there's easy things that are already purée consistency applesauce, mashed potatoes, Greek yogurt, ff pudding, protein shakes. Good luck!! You can purée almost anything. -

1-week post-op- fluid intske
Creekwood replied to enjoythetime's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I agree with CG. Sip sip sip and then sip again!! Keep a water with you at all times. I had trouble getting all of mine in and now at 4 weeks post-op I drink an average of 10-12 cups a day. You will be able to drink a lot of water again, but for now sip away and SF popsicles help too! Congrats on your surgery! You will do great! Stay hydrated!!! -
Anyone have dizzy spells?
Creekwood replied to Laurie8855's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Call your doc! I was having problems with being lightheaded/dizzy at times. They check my BP and it was 98/60! We monitored it and took me off of the BP medicine and I have had no problems since then. But, I would call your doc right away! It could be a number of things and he is much more qualified than we are good luck!!! -
Lol this is hilarious!! They shaved my stomach and up toward my chest. I told my wife "it took me 28 years to grow those 10 chest hairs and they shaved them all off!" LOL I'm the exact opposite of you

My Husband told me he would rather put our $ into patio- Am I Selfish?
Creekwood replied to RwSample's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You are not selfish at all. Ask your husband how he would feel in ten years sitting on that patio ALONE because you have some VERY serious health problem that could easily take your life (God forbid). I paid 13,000 out of pocket. Surgery was only a month ago but so far it's been worth every penny. I have lost exactly 50 pounds since I called and set up my consultation. I exercise 6 days a week, running/walking my first 5k on Saturday, taken off of blood pressure meds!! I know that you are married but I would do it even without his support. This is YOUR life. You only get ONE. Good luck with whatever you choose. P.S. your husband needs to get his head out of his a**!! -

I just got home from my two week post-op appointment (surgery was 5/6 so just shy of two weeks). First they were shocked at how much weight that I have lost since they last saw me in the office (less than a month ago, 30 pounds!). They were all ecstatic for me and one of the nurses (who is banded), remarked how jealous she was Then, they took my blood pressure. It was low. They cut my dose in half!!! I have another appointment in two weeks, she said depending on how my BP is she might take me completely off of it! I can't even explain how happy I would be to get off of this medicine. I have been on it a few years. I'm only 28, it sucks to be on it this young. I went through 8 rounds of intense chemo 11 years ago. The most common long term problems deal with heart problems. I need to do my part to minimize the likelihood of heart problems. Cutting my dose in half is a GREAT start!!! Coming home I got stuck on the highway (office is an hour away), in a lightning storm. Even when I was driving 9 miles an hour on the highway I had a huge smile on my face!! I use to dread going to the doctor. I usually gained weight, my BP was high, some type of problem came up.., But, after today I can't wait to go back in two weeks! I KNOW I'll weigh less than I did today and I HOPE that I can go off of BP medicine. Even if I can't, I know eventually I will! Thanks for reading!
