Good Luck to you and post how you are doing! I am having it done on the 19th and I will do the same. Just hope for the best, that is what I am going to do and keep a positive attitude!!! -
Thanks and I will let you know how things go. I like the staff so far, but I only have seen the Doc for about 5 mins 1X. Everything has been good so far though. Hopefully the hospital is great too. I wish I knew someone that had it done at DePaul in MO to ease my mind about it all. Talk to you soon!

Great! My doc is Roger DelaTorre (I forget how to spell it) My husband thinks I am crazy for doing this but is still supportive of me if it is what I want. I just want it to be over, the closer it gets the more nervous I get. I still want it but I just want it to be 2 weeks from today! -

Centrum chewables are pretty good, but the Centrum Silver chewables which have more of what you need are pretty nasty. I bought the Baraiatric Advantage Vitamins that I can swallow. They are in a small thin capsule form that has been OK'd to take.

How were most of you closed up?? Glue, stiches or staples. I am going to have staples (12-19-07) which I have never had. I have had 2 c-sections with dissolving stiches. How is it to have staples removed?

Congrats to you jweiss1000!!!! I love to read the good experiences!!! I am scheduled for the 19th and would like to have the same results as you!! I want to lose 100lbs. Do you think you will have any problems with not drinking when you get to eat reg food? I can't imagine not washing down my food. I was told Applesauce would be OK to use instead and not leave you thirsty. Does anyone else have any comments on this???

I am schedule for lap band on Dec 19th, 2007. I am very anxious and nervous. I just hope I am one of the lucky ones that does well with it and loses!!!
