Yeah, when I first started after a couple months out, I had cramping really bad. Nearly a month. I'm okay now. It was tough.

Hi. I still think of all of you. I miss you! School is killing me. But I love it too. Anyhoo, I got my very first "cat call" and it wasn't from my husband. And it felt kinda nice. I also got another thing like that too. I went to pick up my son, and while waiting, this guy kept coming into the room, and it wasn't to talk to the kids. It made me feel kinda sexy, though I don't know how to do that anymore. Besides, I'm very happily married. Definety, a mood and moral booster! Yay. -
Also, check water intake.

Many if the above are correct. You've changed your eating habits. Don't focus so much on them. Focus on who is in front of you. Before band life, I would order this special, or that special. After band life, same thing, but a little different and healthier. If you make it a big issue, he will notice. Go and have fun. Enjoy.

You're able to do that in a tanning bed.

Protein. Water. Exercise.

Do not feel like your lying. The Band is a tool, just as a food scale or a scale, or a measuring cup. If you weren't able to use the tool, you wouldn't able to accomplish the task. Currently, your task is to loose weight. Please remember, even with the band you're able to gain weight. There is no reason to tell the world what tools you need. As long as you're able to reach your goal, and you feel better. And you happened to look fabulous too!

I've missed all of you, I've been going to school. Anyways, this week I had an NSV! A lady at work was giving some nice jackets away, size Large. Normally I never looked at them. Then it dawned on me to look. I picked one for me, and it fit! I'm still in awe!! Thank you Band!! Yay. -
Hi, I was banded in nov 2012, I've lost 50 ish lbs. I'm currently in a plateau. Im frustrated but I know if I keep up what I'm doing, it's going to go. I just had another fill and I think I'm really feeling restriction - finally!! I'll admit I've indulged here and there, but I try to choose my indulgence. It's not easy. I don't anything except Protein drinks and Water. Anything else tastes nasty now! Weird huh? I have had only one hamburger since oct 2012, one fry which I couldn't stomach, and the best thing is that I'm eating sooooooo much better..!!!! More chicken, fish and veggies!!! Yes I had wls, but it's a tool. You still have to watch what you eat. I admit I'm frustrated that I'm not farther along, but I haven't given up. And I don't plan on it. I am feeling wonderful, I can do things I haven't been able to do in years and for much longer amounts of time. I hope the other nov 2012 are doing good!!!

Awesome. I love hearing NSVs!!! -
Wow. I didn't know that could happen. Thanks. I will definitely be finding out what caused this. I don't wish this on anyone.

Well, my thanksgiving was good, I did good. Here's my problem. Friday around noon, I broke out into Hives. I can't figure out why. Nothing new, soaps or food. Nothing strange. I went to the doctor Saturday morning, because by the time I realized it was necessary to go, everywhere was closed and made no sense to go to the ER. They pumped me with steroids, nothing worked. Monday, went to immediate care and they did blood tests, and sent me to the allergist. I am on all kinds of antihistamines which is messing with my stomach. I can barely eat normal foods. My tastes are weird. And with being on the steroids I feel like I've ballooned up. Though it might only be 5 lbs, but it's very disheartening. I've worked so hard and to have this happen is so frustrating. They won't be able to test what I'm allergic to, until I'm off all the antihistamines. I'm trying to hang in there. I just want to stop scratching.
-
Wow, that's kind of scary! Thank goodness you're ok. The doctor prescribed another round of steroids. Ugh.
-
Originally, I liked the idea. But now, not so sure. I can't find certain threads, and barely see old friends.
-
Well, I'm almost back to normal. Still some itchiness, but much more manageable. But feel very bloated from the steroids. And I finally feel like I can get back to my routine on eating. With all the antihistamines my stomach was all twisted. Glad to be back.

Wls....a Bad Name!
Shazam replied to chasingadream's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You put this perfect, at least for me. I feel the exact same regarding WLS. There are those individuals who keep asking, what I did. I tell them everything except the WLS, and they still question. I also, don't want to be reminded as to who I was. I want to focus on who I have become. -
Haha. Good one. You made my day!!
-
It appears when you post, at least on the ap for the iPhone, it hangs, and then times out again. But if you close out of the ap and go back to the post, the post is there. It's just annoying. Site seems a bit better though. Thanks for all you do.
-
It happened this morning, but not now. It it happens again I will let you know.
-
Hi, they will be able to test in a couple of weeks. But I think I'm finally getting relief!! Whew. It's been a rough week. I finally don't itch as much. Thank goodness. I can say I have not changed a thing. I've gone over everything. This has been very frustrating. Thanks everyone, I really appreciate it.
