Just so hard cos I used to loooveee downing a cold glass of Water, now I'm just so turned off by this medicine cup it's crazy..can't wait for Protein tomorrow!

I thought it would be much easier to not wanna est anything.. Instead I'm having the hardest time doing Water every 15 minutes, but feel like I could give in and eat.. Sucks

Had my surgery yesterday morning at 7:30 am. Had a little bit of trouble breathing as I was waking up but not, just feels like bad cramps, very hungry, and a teensy bit nauseous. Slept alot of the day yesterday so only falling asleep off and tonight. Will go home Wednesday. And I can't wait to DRINK SOMETHING!!!

Ok cos I'm scared, but I also feel like I'm going to pass out. Congrats to you to!

So I've done my Pre op Miralax drinking, and they said Clear Liquids today only. I know broth and Popsicles are on the list for after cos they're considered clear liquids, . Think I can have them today??

I know it's obviously soon for this, but I know some people to baby food instead of pureeing, cos I know I won't be able to blend chicken lol. Feel like I'm pregnant and nesting, I want to have everything ready, what kind of baby food is best? Kind and flavors?

I scheduled the date thru the bariatric center I've been working with before I got approved! Just to hold the spot for me

And it was approved!!!! Surgery is on for February 4th!!!!!

My drs office faxed everything to my insurance a week ago today, and they told me they'd hear something in 7-10 days but my insurance is usually awesome about approving. Should I be worried that I haven't heard 'yes' yet, or relieved cos there hasn't been a 'no' yet? How soon did you guys all hear?

Do insurance companies always send an approval letter?

This makes me feel a little better about switching my choice from sleeve to bypass for fear of worsening my reflux!

As long as insurance passes me I will be the 4th.

I was going to do the sleeve gastrectomy but after learning that acid reflux can become unbearable after surgery I switched to the bypass. While the dumping syndrome and other things scare me, I'm peaceful with my decision and have a tentative date for February 4. Just have to wait for approval from insurance and ill be set.

My main concern now is that my bmi has always Been high but not sure about the co morbities? Like I said my dr told me I should consider surgery about 3 years in a row

My Thing is I don't have a co morbid condition that's mentioned in the list..just sitting here bawling now

I mean I guess I shouldn't beat myself up cos only joined the program on November 5th and need to be in for atleast 3 months. I just thought this app would help me feel better but now it's freaking me out that so many people are getting denied for the littlest things! For atleast the past 3-4 years my primary care has been basically begging me to go to the bariatric center but what if that isn't enough? I'm just so sad..

So I have to lose 15 before insurance will approve me for surgery, and it's been a month and I've lost 10.5. I feel like a failure tho..been dieting so hard yet only that? Not to mention that this time of year is a very depressing time for me anyways..just feel like throwing the Xmas tree out and hiding under a blanket until February.. Ugh.
