Just spoke to my nutrionist. Said theres no such thing as eating too little an amount of calories, I there was than anorexia wouldn't work. Body does not go into starvation mode. Said the 1/4 - 1/2 cup I'm eating is ok, I'm having no pain or vomiting so I'm not eating too much. She said fro what I told her I'm doing pefectly. Some of you guys can't have meat right now or this or that but on my program I can. She said I lost alot the week of the surgery (17) so it's not unusual that I haven't lost anything yet, it'll happen.

People keep saying that, Im eating off the list I was given and Im allowed 2 tbsp of potatoes. Didnt finish them, finished the cauliflower and ate almost all the meatloaf. Drinking two shakes a day and either having an egg for dinner or another protein, drinking tons of water and exercising. Doesn't make sense.

So depressed..pizza was sent to work and this sucks. I know I can't have all the bad stuff I've always had but I'm not dealing well with always beig left out. Thought after the surgery u can have some of the stuff u enjoy but a limited amount ad sparingly. Just sitting in the bathroom at work crying like I have some contagious disease. On another note, Im pissed because the scale at the bariatric center is weighing me 15 pounds more than my home scale. Annoying. -
Honestly, right now..and don't be scared. But I'm two weeks post op and as of this moment I wouldn't recommend it. The physical stuff I could deal with, but I was not ready for all the emotions and sadness and regret I felt. I'm doing much better than when I first came home, and even better than last week. I'm still sad tho, looked at a bag of salt and vinegar chips at the market and started crying, wondering if I'm going to be left out of all the yummy foods I love for the rest of my life. A good thing is tho I'm down about 50 pounds right now, clothes are fitting better and I don't feel like I'm gonna die when I walk up a staircase. I know in a few months ill be so happy with the decision I made but it is really hard in the beginning. Also I experienced the dumping thing once and it was AWFUL. I was so weak and nauseous, plus with the heart palpitations I started hyperventilating and my lips turned blue. I know it's not all bad tho but I just wanted to let u know it may not all be roses and puppies either.

This is gross but I'm gonna join in..had diarrhea the first week, and started stage 2 last Wednesday and no BM since..haven't been taking in THAT much but still worried -
Just wanted to say thank you to all you girls. I started feeling good on Monday, and now I feel great. Still not sure when I'm feeling full, and I have an insatiable thirst but don't wanna overdo it. Other than that im good. According to my scale at home I've lost almost 60 total. According to the one at the bariatric center I'm only down about 50. Either way good I think. But from someone who has never been more miserable in her life, it DOES get easier!!

Couple concerns..I haven't been walking quite as much as I should, but I'm reaching 3000 on my little blowie thing. Anyways, seems like when I walk I get out if breath very quickly and dizzy. It goes away after awhile but at first is very scary. Also experienced my first dumping episode yesterday! Never wanna do that again. And this has honestly been one of the hardest weeks of my life. ALOT of crying, wondering if I did the right thing, sadness, pain, bored..anyone else feel like this after? I mean, on the upside I'm down 52 pounds total now (23 prior to sx) so I know it'll pay off, I just feel like I thought I would be stronger and just feeling great by now.

I think just my main worry is I don't feel like myself. Ill be watching tv and just get a twinge it feel off or dizzy for a second. And just to know that my life is never goin to be the same and maybe I made a bad choice or what do people think about what I did..

Had my surgery yesterday morning at 7:30 am. Had a little bit of trouble breathing as I was waking up but not, just feels like bad cramps, very hungry, and a teensy bit nauseous. Slept alot of the day yesterday so only falling asleep off and tonight. Will go home Wednesday. And I can't wait to DRINK SOMETHING!!!
