Ok I am just wondering if anyone got a picture of their band on their stomach and in my picture is my liver, my Dr shared with my family and they day he was extreamly excited because there was no fat on my liver

I was banded on the 18th, feeling back to my self with an occasionally pain but feeling great, my mother is going in on Thursday, so excited for her

I was wondering were everyone got there ports at, I thought it wad going to be to the left, but mine is about 2 inches above my belly button, and I keep hitting it ouch

I used the heating pad for the gas pain in my sholder, and back, and the ice pack they gave me for the incision to help with the swelling, mist of the brusing is going sway now, and I only have 2 spots with the sterile strips still on, 1 small and the one were my port is

I did great on mushy foods today, I made a twice baked potato soup, used my ninja to grind sin super crisp Bacon cooked in the new wave oven, and it was wonderful, its funny I've had several people tell me they can already tell I've lost weight, I mean yes I have but not really enough to tell, I've got tons to lose so I don't think a few pounds makes a differance in me

Liquids were fine I did add a little canned whipped topping to my jello that seemed to have helped with the gas as well mushy was good no problems, and as for room temp chicken broth that is gross, I'd try to finish mine when it had gotten cool and down the drain it went I had it as warm or hot as I wanted and it felt good o actually think it soothed my stomach and band, my sister had it dine 15 months ago and she tells me a lot of days she has to have a cup of hot coffee in the mornings or she can't seem to get anything down, but you know everyone is so different

I was banded last Friday and let me tell you man am I healing the itching is driving me really crazy today, but on a the other hand today I get mushy foods about to try scrambled eggs yeah me

Well I just got back from town a trip to the dollar store and Walmart, good exercise at my pace and to day is day 6 banded, still every excited can't wait to have my creamed foods on Friday, these liquids are good and the jello has helped tons but so ready to move forwsrd, the Lord has been so good to me with my journey this far and I know he will continue

YES THE POPCICLES WERE GREAT BUT THE WARM CHICKEN BROTH FOR ME WAS LIKE MAGIC I WOULD NOT EVEN NOTICE IT FOR A LONG TIME THAT'S WHAT WORKED BEST FOR ME

I've had my on Friday really only had protien shakes and popcicled, and chicken broth warm which felt so good its what made my throat and tummy feel best, until yesterday evening I had sugar free jello topped with a little sugar free French vanilla whipped topping from a can, it was amazing I didn't really feel that gassy tummy feeling and it soothed my stomach as well, still having gasx to help when needed, a small box has made me about 4 servings and has helped tremendously, I'm not very sore at all today but I'm still taking it easy

Today is day 3 post surgury its been really good only really shoulder pain off thing I was thinking it would be in my shoulder blade but no in the very top of my shoulder, also had some gas not to bad, I've only takin mess for shoulder and for a small fever, but all seams to be going good otherwise, good luck. Everyone having surgery this week will be praying for you!!!

I'm getting really excited two days, ill get a call tomorrow from the surgery center to let me know the time of my surgery Friday, my church gathered around me and prayed for me, my surgen, and my new future, I'm felling like I am one blessed girl today

JanB160 yes there are spirit filled Christians here, I'm having my surgery on Friday, I was nervous about this a while back but a friend of mine talked to me and reassured me it was just a trick of the devil making me worried about weather I should do this or not, that it is something good for me and since our hosts are the lords temple surly this will be well pleasing to him, and I've also talked to my pastors wife, she is very supportive and so is he I feel blessed, my entire church family, my family, my work family and all my friends are behind me are are all supportive and so happy for me, sometimes I think there more excited than I am, now if that isn't reassurance that the lord is with me on this then I don't know what is, wishing you all the luck and may the lord bless your future

Glad your home going good, mine is Friday today is day 12 of preop diet not doing to bad its pretty good I'm getting more excited by the day, my sister had this done 15 months ago and is doing phinominal, she is really excited for me and before hers they told her she could go out and have a last supper, of anything she wanted, I'm not really sure I want to do that, I went to a preop apt. About 3 weeks ago and I was told I don't have to go back just show up for surgery is this normal

So I'm curriouse as to what kind of pre op diets e everyone is on , mine , light breakfast(eggs), shake for lunch, dinner, ( 4-6 oz of lean meat, and a veggie, usually a salad, and 4 th meal shake( usually don't have it) also can have sf popcicles, sf jello, and more vegies, sf candies is this average,.... I notice someone had said just shakes and broth..just curiouse

I'm really excited to be getting banded, I've truer for several years on and off to finally fined out there's a exclusion for any weight loss surgery, so I'm doing it my self can't wait! Week one of preop diet done week two here I come
