  1. Giovy

    ? for PCOS women

I have pcos and have definitely noticed a more regular period with weight loss. I used to get a period once every blue moon and they'd be super super heavy, now I get them roughly every month and they typically last 4-7 days. Obviously regular periods equal regular ovulation so I'm hoping to try and have kids once I lose another 40 pounds or so. Exciting!

    Help!!

Once you heal you'll be hungry again and will be able to get in more calories. I was probably 4 weeks out before I started feeling hungry. Good luck

    Stoped loosing

Happens to everyone. Keep eating healthy drinking water and exercising and inevitably you will lose weight. I was stuck for three weeks on the same weight, I know it annoying and frustrating but I find if I change the amount of calories and varieties of food I eat everyday it helps me lose small amounts but more consistently.
  5. I'm type 2 diabetic. Pre op I was on metformin and Byetta injections. I no longer require medication to control my diabetes, this happened pretty much a week or so after surgery. My last hba1c was 4.9 which is considered non diabetic
  6. I've been burning anywhere from 600-850 calories a day working out. I'm only eating about 600-700 calories. I figured if my BMR is somewhere around 1800 and I'm burning 800 that's 2600 calories that I'm supposedly burning then there's a deficit of 2000 calories. I've been stuck at the same weight for 3 days now. The reason that its so important that I keep losing consistently is that my work has recently introduced bmi in our medicals. A bmi over 40 and your declared unfit for duty, anything between 35-40 bmi and its doctors discretion whether or not you are declared unfit. If you have underlying factors such as diabetes (which I do) or high blood pressure etc you will be declared unfit. I am bordering on 39.8 bmi and my medical is in a week so a bit stressed and disappointed. I know I won't get to 35 bmi in a week but I wanted to get down as far as possible
  7. I know and ill definitely keep it up just wanted to know that it gets better thx
  8. Yep started a week ago but I thought it would have started getting easier by noe
  9. I've been going to the gym everyday for a week now but I'm totally exhausted afterwards. I try not to have a nap but I feel like I can't function. Has anyone else had this problem?
  10. Yep thx for the advice
  11. Just annoying Becoz I don't know what I did to irritate it.
  12. This morning I woke up feeling a little tight ( has never happened before) but because I read on here that it happens to some people I thought it was ok. As I was drinking my coffee it felt like it wasn't going down right but still I thought it was fine. I went to the gym and the whole time I felt nauseous and like something was stuck. I came home laid down, got up same thing. So I started worrying that maybe my band had slipped. Finally I rang my dr who advised me that something is eaten yesterday had probably irritated my stomach and had caused it to swell slightly. So it's back to liquids for 48hrs
