    I was banded on May 9th and was a huge beer drinker before surgery. Now when I go out its all about moderation .. I have vodka with a splash of cranberry and per my doctor its ok once and awhile. I would check with your doctor to be on the safe said

    Good luck! I'm 11days post op and feel amazing ... just make aure you due what your doctors and nurses tell you to do and you'll do great .

    Glade your ok ! And thats amazing, congratulations on the loss .. I had surgery one week ago today and feel amazing and am down 35 lbs since I started the pre op diet.

    Thats great news! I was banded on the 9th and still have minor port pain . I am down 30lbs since I started the pre op diet and am looking forward to the mushy food stage Saturday! ! Any good recipes anyone would like to share?

    I'm ok still have shoulder pain and pain at the port sight but not bad enough to take pain meds. I have started the protein shakes again today but not sure when I should stop...so im just doing half a shake . How are you doing?

    Thanks! I feel a lot better after a shower and a good nights sleep. I still have pain where the port is but its tolerable

    I'm getting banded on May 9th and start my pre op diet next Tuesday for 10 days .. I tried to start it yesterday just to get a jump start on it and am finding it harder than I thought! I'm eating Greek yogurt and protein shakes for bfast and lunch along with lots of water ... anything else people are eating to mix it up?
