anxiously waiting

well i am one day away from surgery and i am still anxious i know crazy right? My dilema is because i have lost 62 pounds on my own in the last two years. and i kind of feel bad because i do not have any medical problems right now I have researched lapband and wanted it before i got pregnant with my son but put it off i have been heavy for a very long time but since seeing a nutritionist i think i can do it without it but i am scared that i will be giving up my one chance to have this tool. plus with four kids i am afraid of anything going wrong and hindering me from taking care of them i am a single parent. Its crazy to me that I am so indesicive i have never been this way. Any advice?

Hi every one I am just a bit anxious about what foods to have available right after surgery and for the next couple of weeks. I really do not like broth so is it bad just to drink all protien shakes? And I am also scared about eating to fast and embaressing myself in front of others. I have thought long and hard about this for three years and now as the date gets closer fear is starting to creep up but everytime I come to this website there is such encouringing stories which helps alot. Does anyone know any good websites to go to for menus for bariatric surgery or where to find some good recipes?

anxiously waiting feb 20th

Can anyone tell me where i can find sample menus of what to eat so that i can be sucessfull with the band? I keep reading on diffrent topics the band rules but i am a little confused on what they are. my nutrionist was not very helpful she gave me the first couple of days what to do after surgery but nothing long term.

Does anyone know how long it takes to be able to do strenous excersice after surgery. I dance now with a group and at times it can get pretty involved with the moves and the stretching that we do. Was just wondering if anyone thinks my port would get in the way of that?

i was not aware of the 2 week diet eithier i am kind of upset about that because it feels i was not properly informed by my nutritionist anyway what should i do protien shakes, broth and jello like after surgery.

Hi, I was scheduled for surgery next wed but i have to postpone it because i have this terrible virus and so i stared doing more research because i am very nervous and i came across all of these horror stories which has me really thinking twice. Is the vomitting really bad, and what about erosion has anyone experienced that i am currently 262 and my goal is to reach 150 i have 4 children that i soley take care of and i am just scared that this will alter my life tremendously does any one have any advice they could give me
