Since my recent unfill I do the hiccup thing too!! Thanks for the info now I will know it is time to stop. And burp to me is a good thing. Before I had some of my fill taken out I couldn't burp and it was very uncomfortable. It is amazing what a little unfill can do. A year later and I am still trying to figure this band out.

I have always burped alot since I got my band. I just always thought that was part of it. Since my last fill I am having a hard time burping it is like I have to work to get it out. I think I have the reflex stuff too. It is getting better but it has been difficult to get used to. I really don't want to have another unfill I am just hoping it eases up. I am taking something like prilosec and that helps too.

Great thread darlin, so true, so true. I am strugling since my last fill. I think I might have acid reflex and it is not very fun. I am trying to decide if I need to have some unfill again. The weight loss is great but the reflex sucks big time. Being a better bandster would be a lot cheaper too!!!!!!!!!Fill? Unfill? Fill? Unfill? $$$$$$

I just had a fill recently and I can't get much down. I went to the health food store in town and asked if they had just liquid protein. Well they did, it is called LPP by Twin Lab. Hydrolyzed Collagen Protein. It has 15 gr per 2 tbls. it is predigested so it is easier on the tummy, only 60 calories.and it is not to bad mixed with juice. It also has some B-complex vitamins. I was desperate I know I don't get enough protein and with this latest fill it is even harder. My hair texture is really bad and my hair dresser says I am lacking protein. So far I can get this down. Any one else try this?

Wow prices have really came down in the states. It was like 20 k a year ago. Castle Rock, WA here and I was banded in Mexico May 04. I loved popsicles ate them alot.

I just had a fill on 6/27 and the first few days were fine but I am really restricted now. If it were me I would wait, but thats just because you pretty much know what you can and can't eat right now. After the fill who knows. But then on the other hand if you are in a rut and haven't lost for awhile and don't want to wait then you should go ahead just be prepared. Every fill is different so who knows.

I went to her Wednesday, I loved her. She was so awesome we talked for 2 hours. My new fill seems to be working pretty good. Still on liquids but don't have much hunger. Thanks so much for letting me know about her. I can't wait to see her again. Kathy

Hi all, I am back from Reno and feeling much better about my current situations. Lost friend, lost job, cancelled Hawaii, for now that is. I have pictures to share of my grandaughter Nevaeh. Maybe you will remember her first pictures posted here. She is now 1 and such a doll. She made grandma put things in to perspective. Glad to be home and trying to catch up on the new post. I have lots to share also, I have a new fill Doctor and a new fill. Everything is looking brighter than it did 2 weeks ago. So here ya go some picture of my girl. Hope this works!! Hi Everyone, Been a very long time since I have been here. TOO LONG!! But I am going to have lots of time on my hands the next few weeks. My last few days!!! Wednesday: Layed off from my good job, good money. Don't know what I am going to do. Scared as hell. Thursday: Dr. Eubanks in Oregon no longer does fills. Friday: Cancelled Hawaii Trip planned for our 30th wedding aniversary. I really need some encouraging words here!! And I know this is a strong support group that I have missed being a part of. I feel like I am drowning and the Water is coming in fast. I know everything will work out in the long run just going to take some time. Any great advise on any of the above would be great right now.

Hi Teresa, How are you doing? Thanks for your thoughts. Yes I saw that post about her taking Mexico patients. So I have her number and I am ready to call on Monday. Got to get skinny and find a new hot job. I have been stuck for a couple of months but no gain so that is good. I was suppose to go to Eubanks this week. Sure glad I read that post. Thanks DtDtKty It is so nice to have the time to come and visit eveyone here again. I have been under major stress for over a year. I don't really think I realized how much until now. Thank you, each and everyone of you have put a smile on a very sad face. I really loved Penni's idea and that is what I think we will do. I canceled the trip to day and just in time. If I would have waited we would have lost all of our deposit. So yes everything happens for a reason. Money is going to be tight but we will be ok. We have each other and that is the most important part. Again I can't thank all of you enough for your encouraging words. It really helps. I will stay in touch more. Oh and thanks for the hugs those were the best!!!

Heather, He was my doctor also and I am glad that I saw your post. I was scheduled for a fill on the 22nd and they hadn't called me to let me know that they were canceling. I had prepaid a $100 and I had to call and get them to refund it. It sounds like it is going to be hard to find a new fill Dr. have you had any luck finding a new one yet? Thanks Kathy

I was seeing Dr Eubanks in Portland and he just raised the rates drastically. Looking for a fill Dr. any where in Portland or in Washington State that will take Mexico patients. Thanks Kathy

Me and my girls, well 2 of my girls and I have guardian angels on our shoulders. My middle girl was pregnant with my grandaughter when we had them done. She will get hers someday. I love it, don't see any changes after 67 pounds. P1010007.bmp Our guardian angels2.bmp

Wow I don't know what happened, when and why? But I love this site, it has been here for me many times over. I would hate to loose it. It is like a friend that is always there. I hope that everything can get worked out. What a shame that would be to loose the connection that we all have. I come here when I can and everyone has always been so wonderful. I can't imagine losing that security. I always knew that someone here would have some great advise or a wonderful story to tell. I don't have a clue as to what has happened or why. HI everyone, hope all is well with all of you. I don't get much time to post here lately. It takes me forever now to catch up on threads that I have missed. I just wanted to say hi to everyone, it has been awhile. I am doing fine, I am still losing since my unfill. I am so glad that I did that it was a very rough 7 days to be overfilled. I just can't get over how much this site has grown. Just goes to show you that there is a lot of people out there searching for help. This is a great place, just wanted you to know that. I wouldn't be where I am today. 67 pounds lighter is only part of it. I have got some great advise from this site. I made my final decision to have the lapband because of this site. It is a great place and I am glad that everyone can share their experiences here and we can all come and learn from each other. Hope you all are doing well. Take care and have a wonderfull day!!
