No calming juice for me! I was totally freaking as they rolled me into the operating room. Close to jumping off the stretcher and heading for the nearest exit! But everyone was great and I was asleep before I knew it. When I woke up I was ticked because I had been having the nicest dream. Lol. So glad the surgical part is over and that you came through ok!

I have thought long and hard about this. I am not a lush but do like to have a cocktail now and again. Martinis (appletinis etc so many flavors!), Black Russians and Bloody Mary's will be on my "to try" list.

If you have met the criteria for your insurance company then you should be fine. I work for my health insurance company and once the paperwork was in it only took a couple of days to get it approved. Have you called them? Yes, your doctors office knows what they are doing when they send it in. You can definitely call the customer service center at your insurance company and ask them where you stand. Good luck! -
I too was banded on 2/7/13. Got my water in with very little trouble. Heating pad on my chest and shoulders for the gas pain. Every once in a while I have a hunger pang but I just drink. Today I am having the isopure clear protein drink. It's not bad and 40 g of protein. For some reason I want egg drop soup. Never been a big fan but sounds so good. Maybe tomorrow. Good luck everyone. Such an exciting time for us all!
