Im 8 weeks post op and the first two weeks are suppose to be only liquids so u shouldnt be doing none of the stuff u r doing. You will stretch ur pouch or possibly rip it. Consume mostly water and certain broths until your two weeks are up. You can drink one protein drink a day. Protein is the last thing you should be worrying about right now because u have to heal.

The orange juice is probably why you are cramping. You suppose to dilute it with water our stomachs are new so the sugar irritates it.

I had my gastric sleeve done Jan 3. I was so excited the day of surgery. I said my prayers like 3 times before surgery. Everyone knows the surgery suppose to be like 45 mins. Well my surgery ended up being almost 3 hours. Turns out the doctors nicked my artery before they even started doing the sleeve. I started bleeding like crazy so one of the people had to put there hand in me to try to stop the bleeding while another person had to cut me from between my breast to my navel. They had to react fast because I almost died. Ive lost 30 lbs but i also almost died so i im happy i know god because without his mercy and his grace i would be gone right now. I had to get a blood transfusion and then they did my sleeve. So my poor stomach looks a mess. Im just happy to be alive. I was in the ICU for one day n didnt get out of the hospital till 4 days later.

When they was about to start the surgery just inserting the instruments the nicked one of my arteries. Thats y i had to be opened up. I feel good now.im sore of course but i have my color back to my skin.

My surgery was Jan 3, it was very complicated i ended up having emergency open chest surgery before they could even do the sleeve. With gods grace I am still alive. Im 21 years old married and have step daughter. Even though i was almost gone and in icu i wouldn't change having the surgery for nothing. Im still in the hospital and hopefully i can get out tomorrow. If you have any questions fell free to ask me. God bless you all.
